    Notes:

    Of Bergholz, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016, in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on June 22, 1948, the son of the late Melvin and Winifred [Franke] Haseley.

    Bruce attended St. James Lutheran School and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a fork lift operator with Harrison Radiator in Lockport for over 34 years, before retiring in 1998.
    Bruce was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Wheatfield American Legion Post. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping in the 1,000 Islands and was a talented craftsman.

    Bruce was the husband of 45 years to Barbara A. Haseley, the father of the late Matthew Haseley and he is survived by one daughter Michelle (Kevin) Gibson, three grandchildren Alexis, Matthew and Luke Gibson, one brother Arthur (Janice) Haseley, one sister Diana (James) Winch, his mother in law Alice (late Raymond) Haseley and was the brother in law of Gordon (Sharen), Russell (Susan), Robert (Dale) Haseley, Sandra (late Donald) Slusser, Deborah (John) Galleciez, Joyce (William) Schimschack, Brenda (late Jeffrey) Marohn, Gregory (Mary Ellen) Jeffrey (Kathy), Kevin (Lori), Glenn (Bonnie) and Brent (Deborah) Haseley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother in law of the late Vickie and Barbara Haseley.

    His family will present on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz, NY, with the Rev. Philip N. Sallach officiating.

    Memorials may be made in his name to St. James Lutheran Church building fund.

    Interment with Military Honors in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz, NY.

    Bergholz teen dies in ATV accident
    WHEATFIELD - Matthew B. Haseley, 14, of Stoelting Street, Bergholz, died Saturday (July 27,1991) from injuries he suffered in an all terrain vehicle accident. The Niagara Falls native was a graduate of Holy Ghost Lutheran School and was a member of the Luther League. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, where he was a acolyte and was confirmed in May. Haseley played basketball and soccer and was a member of the NW AA wrestling team. He was a paper carrier for the Niagara Gazette and worked for Pfohl's farm. He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Barbara. Haseley of Bergholz; a sister, Michele Haseley of Bergholz; three grandparents; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
    He was predeceased by grandfather. Friends may call from 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. The Rev. David B. Menz will conduct services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church.

    Services for Matthew B. Haseley, a paper carrier and part-time farm worker who was killed Saturday when the all-terrain vehicle he was riding overturned, will be conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road.
    Prayers will be said at 9 P.M. Tuesday at DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
    Matthew, 14, of Bergholz, died Saturday (July 27, 1991) from internal injuries suffered when the three-wheel vehicle he was riding overturned off Lockport Road.
