H.M. Heuer Dies; Former Teacher
BERGHOLZ - Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church for Helma M. Heuer, 62, a former teacher in the church school and a participant in numerous church organizations. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 9 p.m. Monday in the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road. Mrs. Heuer, a teacher for 15 years, died Friday (Dec. 26, 1986) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was a past president of the Ladies Aid group of Holy Ghost Church, a member of its Altar Guild and choir and a Sunday school teacher there. She served on the Lutheran Women's League and was a charter member of the Bergholz Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary. The former Helma M. DeVantier was born in Wheatfield. Surviving are· her husband, George W.; two daughters, Cynthia and Marcia; her mother, Esther DeVantier, and a brother, Dennis DeVantier.

Age 62, of Bergholz. Town of' Wheatfield on December 26, 1986, In Memorial Medical Center after a lengthy illness, she Is survived by her husband George W. Heuer; two daughters, Cynthia and Marcia; her mother, Mrs. Esther DeVantler; one bother, Dennis (Doris) DeVantier; sister-in-law of Mrs. Elizabeth Heuer and Mrs. Chester (Lillian) Haseley and a niece and nephews; predeceased by her father Benjamln DeVantier. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 30 at 10:30 AM In Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz with Rev. Stephen P. Roehrs officiating. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7 .. PM at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Rd., Bergholz. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour, Holy Ghost Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice
