    Helen A. Schaffenacker, 87, of Mount Pulaski died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, at Vonderlieth Living Center, Mount Pulaski.
    She was born March 5, 1911, in Effingham County, the daughter of Henry and Helena DeVantier Dammerman. She married Floyd Schaffenacker in Mount Pulaski in 1934. Mrs. Schaffenacker, a homemaker, was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Mount Pulaski, the Ladies Circle of Zion Lutheran Church, was a founding member of the Lutheran Woman Missionary League and member of the Logan County Home Bureau.
    Survivors: husband, Floyd; a son, "Eddie" (wife, Sue) Schaffenacker of Mount Pulaski; a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Lois) Stahl of Mount Pulaski; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herman Dammerman of Lincoln.
    Services: 11 A.M. Wednesday, Zion Lutheran Church, Mount Pulaski, the Rev.
    Paul Droegemueller officiating. Burial: Mount Pulaski Cemetery
