On their return to Columbus, she was the secretary to the Construction Engineer of the Ohio Turnpike Commission. She planned many programs for Christmas, Mother's Day, and special anniversaries. She also spent many hours on Lutheran World Relief projects, especially the quilts and layettes. At her daughter's urging, she wrote "Wasn't it amazing, Judy Grace," which included the story of her German and French-Huguenot (Protestant) background, highlights of their years in the various churches, and favorite recipes she collected along the way. Her cinnamon rolls were the best! Judy is survived by her son, Kevin Luther Stroble, of Marion and her daughter, Ruth Jeannine Roberts, of Moriarty, NM.
