    Boston Woman Had Many Relatives in Bergholtz and Visinity (sic) BERGHOLTZ, Oct. l0.-A number of friends and relatives from here attended the funeral services for Miss Lydia Camann Tuesday afternoon at the residence, 25 East North street, Buffalo. Miss Camann was born 83 years ago, and died in Boston, MA. She was a sister of Mrs. John Wendel of Buffalo. a sister-in-law of Mrs. Charles Camann of this village, and an aunt of Mrs. Julius Stoelting, Albert Camann, Edwin Camann, Frank Camann, former Supervisor Harry Camann, the late George Camann, John and William Camann of Niagara Falls, and Charles Camann of Tonawanda.

    George W. Camann, 50 years old, of Bergholz, died early this morning at the Memorial hospital, Niagara Falls. He was taken ill a few days ago and was operated on at the hospital yesterday for intestinal trouble.
    Camann had lived in Bergholz practically all his life. He is survived by a wife, two sons, Carl and George, Jr.; four daughters, the Misses Doris, Natalia, Anita and Thelma; a mother, Mrs. Emily Camann, all of Bergholz; seven brothers, Charles C. Camann, Tonawanda; William and John Camann, LaSalle; Frank, Albert, Edwin and Harry Camann of Bergholz, and a sister, Mrs. Julius Stoelting, Bergholz.
    The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at the Holy Ghost church, Rev. John Kuchenbecker officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Ghost cemetery.

A lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield, she was a member of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, the Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League of the church. She is survived by her husband, Julius C.; two daughters, Mrs. Philip Milleville, Mrs. Wallace Haseley; two sons, Erwin C., Arthur J., and 14 grandchildren; all of the Town of Wheatfield; six brothers, William Camann of North Tonawanda, John Camann of Niagara Falls and Frank, Albert, Edwin and Harry Camann, all of the Town of Wheatfield. Friends may call at the residence of her son, Erwin, of Niagara and Schultz Rds., Bergholz, where services will be Monday at 2 P.M. and at 2:30 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. The Rev.     Walter Camann Dies At Home on 56th Birthday
    Walter R. Camann died of a heart attack yesterday on his 56th birthday. A police inhalator rescue squad was called at 2:55 pm to the Camann home at 26 Paramount Pkwy. but was nable to revive him. Mr. Camann became a Town of Tonawanda Highway Department employee in August 1926. He joined the town police force five years later. He was a member of the 23-Year Club of the Town of Tonawanda Employes He was also a life member of the Sheridan Police Club in the township. Mr. Camann's wife, the former Clara Zimmerman, is a part-time employe in the town clerk's and the town assessor's offices in the Town of Tonawanda. He is also survived by two sons. John W, and Richard C. Camann, a brother, Alderman Melvin A. Camann of Tonawanda, and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Bury Funeral Home. 3070 Delaware Ave, Kenmore.

    NORTH TONAWANDA - Carl W. Camann, 77, of Pierce Avenue, died Friday (Aug. 19, 1994) in Buffalo General Hospital following surgery. He was born Oct. 8, 1916, in Bergholz, the son of George and Wilhelmine (Urtel) Camann. A 44year employee at the Carborundum Co., Mr. Camann retired in 1979 as a manager in the inventory and production control department. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church on Old Falls Boulevard, the St. Paul Friendship Club, the Lutheran Laymen's, League, the Carborundum Alumni Club, the Retired Men's Group of the Tonawandas and an exempt member of the Bergholz Fire Co. He is survived by his wife, Velma (Zuch) Camann of North Tonawanda; two sons, Carl Camann of Atlanta and Paul Camann of Mystic, Conn.; a sister, Doris Flett of Niagara Falls; a brother, George Camann of North Tonawanda; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Natalie Camann, Thelma Camann, Anita Edwards and Vernon Camann. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, where the Rev. Richard Pape will conduct services at 11, a.m. Monday.     Born in this city, she lived here all her life and was employed by the Carborundum Co in the accounts receivable department for 35 years. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholtz. Survivors include two brothers, Carl W. Camann of North Tonawanda and George H. Camann, both of North Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Flett of this city and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at the Lane Funeral Home. Inc. Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Albert Gaal will officiate.

    NORTH TONAWANDA — George H. Camann, age 88, of North Tonawanda on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, after a brief illness. George lived in Bergholtz prior to moving to North Tonawanda in 1953. He worked at the Wurlitzer Company as an Organ Tuner until its closing. He then joined the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1987 after 29 years of service in North Tonawanda.

    George was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster and 2 Purple Hearts. He was at the Battles of Ardennes, Central Europe, Rhineland and Normandy.

    Husband of the late Jean M. (nee Wiseman) Camann. Brother of the late Carl Camann, Natalie Camann, Doris Flett and Anita Edwards.

    Beloved father of Joan (David) Lukasavich, George (Ruth) Camann and Carol (John) Dowd, all of North Tonawanda. Proud grandfather of Lynne, Steven (Karrie), Jeffrey (Kelly) Lukasavich, George (Claire) Camann and Valerie (Neil) Haseley. Great-grandfather of Cole, Ella, Reed, Logan, Parker Lukasavich and Margaret, Elizabeth and Georgia Camann. Brother-in-law of Velma Camann and Robert Edwards.     TOWN OF WHEATFIELD - Erwin C. Stoelting, 63, of 2403 Niagara Road, died Monday (Nov. 2, 1970) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of this community where he operated the Stoelting Machine Inc. since 1941. He was a member of the Bergholtz Volunteer Fire County, a past assistant fire chief of the company, a member of the Town of Wheatfield Business Association, Niagara County Volunteer Firemen's Association, a life member of the Western New York and the New York State Volunteer Fireman's Associations and a member of the Niagara County Fire Chiefs Association.
    He is survived by his widow, the former Ruth Stenzel; two, sons, Marvin E. of Sanborn, and Wayne C., of this community, a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Nancy) Wienke of Sanborn; and seven grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Stoelting; and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Milleville, and Mrs. Wallace Haseley, all of Town of Wheatfield.

    Services for Arthur J. Stoelting, who served in Bergholz Fire Company for 60 years, will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Luther Street and Niagara Road.
    Stoelting, 86, died Saturday (March 18, 1995) in his home on Stoelting Street.
    He was born in Wheatfield, lived there all of his life and was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.
    Stoelting was an exempt member of Bergholz Fire Company. He also volunteered for many years with Tri-Community Ambulance Service.
    He was a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League and had been a member of the Bergholz Fire Company Band in the 1930s and '40s.
    Stoelting worked on his family's dairy farm until 1948, when he went to work at American District Steam Co. in Buffalo. He retired in 1972.
    Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former Mathilda Stenzel; a son, Duane A. of Bergholz; three daughters, Helen M. Haseley of Walmore, Margaret E. Jensen of Tucson, AZ., and Mary Lou Milroy of Niagara Falls; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren

    BERGHOLZ - Cordia (Stoelting) Haseley, of Stoelting Street, died Thursday (May 14, 1987) at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. She was 70. She was born at her homestead in Bergholz and was a lifelong resident of the hamlet. Mrs. Haseley enjoyed baking and decorating special cakes for the community. She was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Survivors include her husband, Wallace Haseley; sons, Roger, Willard and Wilfred Haseley, all of Bergholz; daughters, Marlene Langhart of Long Island, N.Y., Lorna Wentzel of Michigan and Florine Wilkins of Maine; a brother, Arthur Stoelting of Bergholz; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.     Falls Man Accused In Tavern Death
    A Niagara Falls man was released on $5000 bail today after he pleaded innocent in Falls Police Court to a charge of second-degree manslaughter in a tavern-fight death in Niagara Falls early Saturday.
    The dead man is Lester Camann, 40, of 268 Fourth St., Niagara Falls, son of William Camann, 40 E. Felton St., North Tonawanda.
    Earl Shipley, 38, Niagara Falls, the man charged, allegedly told the victim he was occupying the wrong chair in a bar next to Falls Police Headquarters. Witnesses told police Mr. Camann began to swear and the defendant struck him, knocking him across the room against a window sill and a radiator.
    A lifelong resident of the city, Mr. Camann is survived by his father, two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Briggs, 40 E. Felton St., and Mrs. Gertrude Bruss, Niagara Falls; and a brother, Raymond Schultz, Niagara Falls

    Mrs. King died Friday June 18th 2021.  June was born in Niagara Falls NY on June 27th 1928, the youngest daughter of the late John and Elsie (Lang) Camann.  She attended Cayuga Drive School and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1946.  She worked at the Carborundum Co. for 32 interrupted years, retiring in 1992.  While there, she was very active in sports; playing baseball, bowling, golf and tennis.  She also played baseball and basketball in church, industrial and American-Canadian leagues. In 1954, June was voted the Carborundum Woman Athlete of the Year as well as the WJJL Carlings City of Niagara Falls Woman Athlete of the Year.  June also worked part-time for Jenss Department Store for many years; first at the Mil-Pine Plaza and later in the offices at Summit Park Mall.  She also volunteered at the LaSalle LADD Thrift Shop.  In her later years, Mrs. King enjoyed watching sports and playing cards with friends at the John Duke Center and other senior centers.  She was a life-time member of Grace Lutheran Church, baptized July 15th 1928, confirmed March 29th 1942 and married November 30th 1957, and she taught Sunday School for many years.
    Mrs. King was predeceased by her husband John W. King (June 17th 1987), son John D. King (2014), infant son James (1960), sister Mildred (John) Culbert, brothers Earl (Marie) Camann, Jack (Liz) Camann, and Paul (Joyce) Camann.  She is survived by her loving daughter JoAnn Simon, son-in-law Howard Simon and grandson Jonathan Simon, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 23rd from 4-7pm at Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Avenue.  A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive; family and friends are invited. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.

    NIAGARA FALLS — Wilmer F.C. Camann, age 95, of Niagara Falls, was called to his heavenly home on February 13, 2011 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in the Town of Wheatfield on July 18, 1915 to the late Franklin and Rosa (Jagow) Camann. He attended local schools and was employed at the Carborundum Company-Bonded Abrasives for 40 years, retiring in 1980. Wilmer was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls. He used to enjoy hunting and years ago played in the Bergholz Band.

    Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Evelyn H. (SaintDenny) Camann; a daughter, Gail (Seale) Williamson of Alabama; two grandchildren, Steven Williamson and Susan Bishop; and four great-granddaughters; a sister, Jean Klettke of Bergholz and several nieces and nephews.     Jean was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, attended Holy Ghost School and graduated from LaSalle High School. She enjoyed English (German was spoken at home), home economics and bookkeeping. When she was 16, she began working at Kresge's Department Store in Niagara Falls.
    Jean married Ivan "Corky" Klettke on July 12, 1952 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. Following their marriage, they lived in California and Rhode Island as Corky fulfilled his naval enlistment. They returned to purchase their family home on part of Jean's family's homestead. They celebrated holidays with extended family and friends, except for July 4, when they served the community at the Bergholz Fire Company Field Days.
    Jean and Corky enjoyed Sunday outings at Camp Pioneer in Angola. They took semi-annual vacations to Rhode Island, enjoyed family camping trips, winter trips to Florida and driving to Alaska as retirees in 1994.
    For most of her life, Jean was a homemaker and mother. In later years, she served as secretary and bookkeeper in the family land surveying business. She volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Parent Teacher League and the Ladies' Aide Society. She held offices in the Bergholz Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary and Historical Society of North German Settlements in Western NY, worked as elections inspector for the Niagara County Board of Elections, and was a member of the Valparaiso University Guild.
    Jean is survived by her four sons, Neal (Sue), Russell, Bart (Gloria) and Matthew (Kareen); nine grandchildren, Lynette Boesken (Mark), Andy, Ted (Ariel, Erin, Cam, Joshua (engaged to Sarah Sorrentino), Kirsten, Noah and Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Stone and Pia Boesken; and three nieces, Gail Williamson (Rex), Elspeth Nevelson and Maria Nevelson. She is predeceased by her husband, Corky; and siblings, Edna McClenathan, Wilmer Camann and Marion Meitz.

    Waldemar H. "Wally" Camann, age 91, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. He was born in Bergholz, the son of the late Albert A. and Emma (Baars) Camann on January 26, 1917. Mr. Camann lived in Bergholz nearly all of his life and was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. He married the former Lucille E. Wilksen on April 26, 1941. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage until her death on April 23, 1996. Mr. Camann received his early education at Holy Ghost Lutheran School, followed by South Junior High School, quit school to work at Carborundum for a time during the Depression, then returned to school and graduated from Trott Vocational School in 1937.Mr. Camann started work at DuPont in 1938 as a welding apprentice and eventually worked in sheet metal layout, until his retirement in 1978. He also crafted and installed gutters on many homes in the area to supplement the income needed to support his large family.After retirement, the Camann's enjoyed traveling and enjoying the scenery, and for visits with far-flung family and friends. He was involved with volunteering from an early age and was always available to "lend a hand" whether to individuals or through organizations to which he belonged. He was a very active member of his church, the Walther League, the Lutheran Laymen's League, the historical society and had over 70 years of volunteer service with the First Volunteer Fire Company of Bergholz, Inc. Mr. Camann is survived by his children, sons, William (JoAnne) Camann, Kent, NY, Dr. Keith (Ellen) Camann, Okemos, MI, Richard (Sue) Camann, Plymouth, MI; and daughters, Cecile Beutel, Walworth, NY, Barbara Sniffen, Gainesville, FL, Audrey Pfohl, Highlands Ranch, CO, and Donna (Jeffrey) Zygmont, Salem, NH. He was very proud of his 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.     BERGHOLZ - Eugene W. Camann, an author, historian and former accountant for Carborundum County, died Sunday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness. He was 84.
    Born in Wheatfield, Mr.
    Camann was a longtime resident of the hamlet of Bergholz. He graduated from Holy Ghost Lutheran School in Bergholz, LaSalle High School and Harvard Business School.
    Mr. Camann worked at Carborundum for 32 years, retiring as a cost accountant. He was also an office manager for 10 years with the Eastern District office of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
    In 1975, he founded the Historical Society of North German Settlements in Western New York. He also served as curator of its Heritage Museum in Bergholz, co-founded the Bergholz German Band and was a member of the Bergholz Fire Company Band.
    Mr. Camann wrote two books - "Uprooted From Prussia, Transplanted in America" and "More Prussian Transplantings in Wheatfield" - as well as numerous historical pamphlets. He took numerous trips to Germany to do research for his books.
    Mr. Camann was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where he served as an elder, chairman of the congregation, Sunday school superintendent, choir member and on the youth and stewardship boards. He also researched and spoke on Lutheran Church history in Western New York.
    His wife of 45 years, Janice R. Wienke Camann, died in 1988.
    Survivors include four sons, David of San Antonio, TX,
    Michael of Germantown, Stephen of Waldorf, MD., and Timothy of Unadilla; four daughters, Ruth Voelker, Lois Wiseman, Mary Fuerch and Deborah Feick, all of Bergholz; two brothers, Waldemar and Roland, both of Wheatfield; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday in Holy Ghost Church, 6630 Luther St. at Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    LOCKPORT — Roland "Joe" E. Camann, age 86, of Wheatfield, was called to his heavenly home to be with our Lord, on Sunday, May 2, 2010, in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on December 6, 1923 to the late Albert and Emma (Baars) Camann. He attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and Trott Vocational. A United States Army Veteran, he was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where he held numerous positions over the years and sang in the choir. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor at the E.I.DuPont & Co. for many years. Joe was an exempt member and past Chief of the Bergholz Fire Co., past Commander of the Wheatfield American Legion, Post 1451, former member of the Bergholz German Band, Bergholz Cooperative Insurance Co., and past President of the Board of Directors, Firemen's Association of the State of New York, and past President of the Niagara County Fire Chiefs Association. Hobbies and interests included music, traveling, photography, chair caining, keeping family trees and the historical society.

    Survivors include his beloved wife, Bernice "Bonnie" (Milleville) Camann. They were united in marriage June 1, 1946; loving twin daughters, Karen (late Howard) Binkley of North Tonawanda and Maureen (Rev. Wayne) Jagow of Lockport; five grandchildren, Nicole (Allen) Ganz, Rev. Andrew (Kathy) Jagow, Kim Binkley, Bethany (Michael) Moulden and Karrie (Glen) Gebhardt; four great-grandchildren, Jamie and Sarah Ganz, Lily and Claire Jagow; sister-in-law, Doris Camann; and many nieces and nephews.     Reverend Francis "Frank" Edward Camann, age 73 of Clintonville, entered his eternal home on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his residence. He was born on October 22, 1931 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. He was the son of the late Albert and Emma (Baars) Camann. Frank was baptized on November 15, 1931 and confirmed on March 25, 1945 into the Lutheran faith at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, NY. Upon graduating from Niagara Falls Senior High School, he worked at General Abrasive Corp. and Niagara Power Co. one year before attending Concordia Teachers College, River Forest, IL. He graduated there on June 11, 1954 with a B.S. Degree in Education. On June 25, 1955 he married Doris Schmidt. His parochial school teaching years were spent in Plymouth, WI (1954-1963), Cabot, PA (1963-1965), and Luxemburg, WI (1965-1968). He enrolled at Concordia Seminary, Springfield, IL in 1968. During his 3 years of studies he assisted congregations in Farmersville and Danville, IL. His vicarage year was spent at St. John, Rochester, MI. In 1972 Frank graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary. He served pastorates at Zion, Wayside, WI (1972-1978), St. Paul, Williamsburg, IA (1978-1979), and Trinity and Grace, Bear Creek, WI (1979-1994). He retired from full-time ministry in 1994, completing 40 years of service to the church. During retirement Frank assisted the chaplain at Wisconsin State Veterans Home in King, WI. He also helped at various area churches, primarily Zion Embarrass and St. Peter Pella Opening, and St. Martin in Clintonville until early 2003 when his health began to fail.

    Warren E. Camann, well know and respected WNY Drum Major, died Saturday July 26, 2003, in the Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a short illness.
    A life long resident of Bergholz, NY, in the Town of Wheatfield, he was born on October 1, 1923, the son of Edwin J. and Lydia [ Baars ] Camann. He attended local schools and was a graduate of the Trot Vocational High School, in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.
    He served in the United States Army, during World War II, in Ardennes Central Europe, Normandy and Northern France, and was awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
    He was employed as a machinist at General Abrasives for 48 years, retiring in 1989, and at Hutchin's Automotive, for 11 years, retiring last year. Warren was an Honorary Member of the Sanborn Fire Company, where he was a member of the Sanborn Band for over 50 years. He began as a member of the trombone section, he served as band manager for many years later becoming Drum Major, serving for 15 years, retiring in 2001. His proudest memories were leading the band in the Fourth of July Parades, in Washington, DC, and Philadelphia, PA., and twice in Canton, OH, for the Football Hall of Fame Parade, which is regarded as the # 3 Parade in the Country. He was a Charter and Life member of the Wheatfield Post #1451 American Legion. He was a member of the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Sanborn.
    Surviving is his wife of 54 years, the former June Haseley, who he married on October 8, 1949; a brother, Robert Camann, of Waynesboro, VA, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Eloise Cindrich.
    Visitation will be at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY, from 7 - 9 PM, Sunday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM, Monday.

    The Wheatfield native was the son of the late Harry and Ella Jago (sic) Camann. He founded the Norman R. Camann Plumbing and Heating Co. in Wheatfield in 1945. He retired in 1980 and moved to Sarasota.

    Edison C. Stieg, 85, a well-known musician who played several instruments and directed many bands, died Friday (March 23, 2001) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a long illness.
    Born in Wheatfield, he was an Army veteran of World War II and played in the 174th Infantry Army Band.
    He played several instruments and for 35 years directed many bands, including the Bergholz German Band, the Sanborn Volunteer Fire Company Band, the Wheatfield Community Band and the Wheatfield Senior Citizens Band.
    On several occasions he traveled with his bands to Germany, Hawaii, California and Florida.
    He was a 50-year member of Adams Fire Company and was a member of Wheatfield Post 1451, American Legion, and St. John Lutheran Church.
    His wife, the former Verna Wollenberg, died in 1995.
    Survivors include his fiancee, Gracia Sweeney Docenko; two stepdaughters, Marilyn Updegraff of Fairport and Donna Burolla of Ontario, N.Y.; and a stepson, Kenneth May of Sanborn.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. John Lutheran Church, Ward Road and Niagara Falls Boulevard. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    Howard L. Moeller, a long time resident of this city, died on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Mount Saint Mary's Hospital following a brief illness. He was born at the Niagara University Farm, Lewiston, NY, the son of the late Edwin E. And Clara (Steig) Moeller.

    Howard served in the US Army with the 4th Armored Division with the 8th Tank. He attended yearly conventions for the Armored

    Division across the country since it's inception in 1954. Following his military service, he worked for various companies including Smith Brothers. He retired from Local 463 as an operating engineer in 1981 after 40 years of employment. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the American Legion Wheatfield Post 1451. An avid garderner, he also loved woodworking and remodeling and was an active hunter in earlier years.

    He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth; and siblings, Elmer Moeller, Dorothy Patsch and Ethel Mackenzie. He is survived by three children, Ester (Nicholas) Butera of Springville, NY, Earl (Jan) Moeller of Waterville, OH and Melodi (Byron) Pierce of Niagara Falls, NY; five grandchildren, Christina Butera, Eric Moeller, Jon Pierce, James Moeller and Daniel Moeller; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12 Noon. Interment with Military honors will be held In Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.

    Elmer L. Moeller, 84, a retired Moore Business Forms employee, died Monday (Dec. 6, 1999) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Moeller was born in Wheatfield. He had been a resident of Lewiston for the past 80 years. He worked at Moore Business Forms in Niagara Falls as a number head specialist, retiring in 1978 after 29 years. Moeller was a member of Lutheran Church of the Messiah and the Moore Retirement Club. An avid outdoorsman, he also enjoyed bingo, traveling and bowling. He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel M. Wilson; two sons, Edwin M. of Portland, Ore., and Gary W.; a brother, Howard of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Dorothy Palsch of Rochester and Ethel McKenzie of Texas; a grandson; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hardison Funeral Home, North Fourth and Ridge streets. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
