BELLING - Mrs. Dorothea F. Belling, 86, of 258 Miller St.. died Thursday night (June 28. 1956) in Meyer Memorial Hospital, Buffalo, after a long illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she was the widow of Charles Belling. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. William Salefske, and Lillie and Edna Belling of North Tonawanda. A granddaughter also survives. She was a member of Friedens Evangelical & Reformed Church and its Women's Guild, Rosedale Rebekah Lodge 386 and Twin City Council, Daughters of America. Burtch (nee Salefske) of North Tonawanda, age 93, passed away suddenly Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Erie County Medical Center. Mrs. Burtch was born April 3, 1920 in North Tonawanda, daughter of the late William Charles and Alice (nee Belling) Salefske. Helen attended local school and graduated from North Tonawanda High School. She went on to graduate from Buffalo State Teachers College. Mrs. Burtch was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and its Women's Group. She had been an active member of Friedens UCC Choir and Bell Choir. Helen enjoyed traveling with her late husband and gardening. Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Burtch, who passed away in 1995. Sister-in-law of Fred (late Marie) Burtch; aunt of John (Bettie) and Tom (Nancy) Burtch; also survived by several cousins. TOWN OF WHEATFIELD — Paul H. Nantke, age 85, of the Town of Wheatfield, May 3, 2011, in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Home, Lewiston, after a brief illness. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran. Early in his life he had worked as a professional photographer, he also worked for National Grinding Wheel and worked as a machinist for many years for Wales Strippit in Akron until his retirement. He was a member of the Niagara County Radio Controlled Model flying club and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Paul was an experienced traveler and enjoyed his trips to the Holy Land.

He was the husband of the late Margaret E. (nee Hall) Nantke; beloved father of Lisa (Chris) Mrzygut of Lewiston; grandfather of Amanda Beth and Ariel Marie Mrzygut; he was the brother of the late Glenn and Albert Nantke; uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Thursday from 2-4 and 5:30-7:30 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7:30 PM. The Rev. Gregory Schultz will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
