NORTH TONAWANDA — Loretta J. Siegman (Severance), age 83, of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home on January 14, 2014, while at the Northgate Health Care Facility, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born on February 23, 1930 in Wilcox, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Jackson) Severance. Loretta was a long-time member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, and a member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Loretta was predeceased by her husband, Howard Siegman on May 2, 1995; and a son, Jeffrey Siegman on December 6, 2005.

Survivors include two children, Kathleen Greenland and Jay (Kim) Siegman, both of Wheatfield; four grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, Joseph and Nickolas; one great-grandson, Gavin; a sister, Eleanor Siegmann; and several nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by seven brothers and sisters, Geraldine Severance, Betty Martin, Darla Herstek, Howard, Gerald, Jay and Franklin Severance.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME (731-3234), 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Karl Koch on Saturday at 11:00 AM in St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. Interment will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Cemetery Fund or Niagara Hospice.

JAY R. SIEGMAN, age 57 of Wheatfield, NY, was called to his heavenly home on April 18, 2022, while at the Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, Town of Lewiston, NY. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on January 18, 1965; son of the late Howard and Loretta (Severance) Siegman. Jay was employed at Snyder Industries, as a machinist for 33 years, until his massive stroke in 2019. A life long member of St. John Lutheran Church, in Wheatfield, also a member of St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company for 39 years, the NYSVF Judging Association- Western Division, and enjoyed deer hunting.Survivors include his wife, Kimberly (Prantera) Siegman; two children, Nicholas Henneberger and Sarah Siegman; three fur children, Bear, Roxy, and Duke; a sister, Kathleen Greenland (Wally Rowell); uncle, Pete (Judy) Siegman; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Jay was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Siegman.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday (April 23) from noon until 4:00 p.m. Members of the St. Johnsburg Fire Company will conduct a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Funeral service will take place following the visitation at 4:00 p.m., with the Rev. Michael Borgstede, officiating. A private interment, along with the family, will take place in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, or St. Johnsburg Fire Company.
