    TOWN OF PENDLETON — Arthur C. Schulz, age 82, of the Town of Pendleton, died on Monday, June 20, 2011, at his residence, after a long illness. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Clara (Pellman) Schulz. Arthur had been employed as Director of Manufacturing Support for Occidental Chemical Corp. for 35 years. He retired as Director of Production Development in 1990. Arthur received a "Man of the Year" Award from the Pendleton Town Board in 1976. He served on the Town of Pendleton Planning Board for seven years. Arthur was a member of First Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Tonawanda. He loved to cook, camp, and hike, and loved his family and his dogs.

    He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha I. (nee Keyl) Schulz; five children, Judith (David) Georger of Avon, NY, Paul J. (Peggy) Schulz of Clarence Center, NY, Amy L. (Samuel) Folby of Lockport, NY, Jane C. (Brian) MacDonald of Salinas, CA, and Peter A. Schulz of Hong Kong; one sister, Ruth L. (late Clifford) Patterson of Chicago, IL; and 12 grandchildren.

    Family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (Between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 24th at 10 AM at First Trinity Lutheran Church, 1570 Niagara Falls Blvd., in Tonawanda. Friends invited. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Trinity Lutheran Church or Parkinson's Association of WNY, 5140 Main St., Suite 303-154, Williamsville, NY 14221.
