NORTH TONAWANDA - Edward M. Wendt, 64, of 835 Ohio St., died today, (April 9, 1964) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Sanborn and had lived here fo 40 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was employed by the Kimberly Clark Corp. His wife, Christine Eidt Wendt, died in 1957.
Survivors include three sons, Martin, Raymond, and Robert Wendt, and two daughters, Mrs. Harold Boehnke and Miss Doris Wendt, all of the Tonawandas; two brothers, Fred and Robert Wendt, both of Niagara Falls, and four grandchildren. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society. Doris Wendt, age 82, passed away on November 24, 2016 at Brookdale's Clarebridge House in Wheatfield following a long illness. Doris was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she graduated from North Tonawanda High School and retired from DeGraff Memorial Hospital, where she had worked as a nurses aide for over 35 years. Her hobbies included trips to the casino and travel. Daughter of the late Edward and Christine Wendt; sister of the late Evelyn (late Harold) Boehnke, late Martin, late Raymond and late Robert Wendt. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marilyn (Robert) Ventry; and four nieces. Friends may call on Sunday from 12-3 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda where Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM. Kenneth “Kenny” R. Wendt, 81, passed away April 1, 2019 at his Town of Niagara residence. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Charlotte (DeLammeror) Wendt.  Kenny graduated from Trott Vocational High School and attended several trade schools.
Kenny was a maintenance Supervisor for Niagara Wheatfield School District retiring in 1994. He was a “jack of all trades “ in accomplishing domestic repairs and renovations, he enjoyed tinkering with many projects as he was able to repair anything with his vast vocational experiences. Kenny was an avid fisherman, golfer and bowler but most of all, loved being around his family.
Kenny is survived by his beloved wife, JoJo DePadre-Wendt, children Ann Marie (Dennis) Wheeler, and Justin B.W. DePadre, devoted Poppy of Brett Brosnan and Drew Brosnan .  He was predeceased by his brother Robert Wendt.  He was the cherished uncle of Keni-Lyn Wendt, in addition to many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
