    NORTH TONAWANDA, Nov. 6—
    Charles A. Stenzel. 76. a lifelong
    resident of St. Johnsburz and and
    emplovc of the Buffalo Bolt company
    for the past 40 years, died sud-
    denly yesterday from a heart attack
    while at his place of employment.
    He retired as an employee of the
    company just before the war broke
    out but was called back as a guard
    at the Oliver street plant when the
    United States broke with Japan and
    Germany.
    Mr. Stenzel was a member of the
    St. John's Lutheran church. For
    more than 20 years he had served
    the church as an elder. He was also
    a member of the St. Johnsburg fire
    company.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary
    Perslien Stenzel; three sons, Wil-
    bert Stenzel of tonawanda, and
    Carl and Reuben Stenzel, of the
    Town of Wheatfield four daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Eleanora Mellenthine, Mrs.
    Erwin Stoelting and Mrs. Arthur
    Stoelting of the Town of Wheat-
    field and Mrs. Dorothea Ellman
    of the town of Tonawanda; 17
    grandchildren and a brother, Her-
    man Stenzel, of Lockport.
    Funeral services will be held Fri-
    day afternoon at 2 o'clock from the
    residence and at 2:30 at St. John's
    church. Rev. Walter Themecke will
    officiate and burial will be in St.
    John's cemetery.

Mellenthine, 94, formerly of Ward Road, a former employee of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. in Niagara Falls, died Wednesday (April 5, 1995) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a brief illness. The former Eleonora Stenzel was born in Wheatfield. She was employed for 25 years in the sewing department at Du Pont, retiring in 1966. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid Society, the Lutheran Missionary League, the DeGraff Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Wheatfield Senior Citizens and the Du Pont 25-Year Club. Her husband, Helmuth, died in 1936. Survivors include two sisters, Mathilda Stoelting of Bergholz and Dorothy Bross of North Tonawanda; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard at Ward Road.

Stoelting was a member of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, the Women's Missionary League, the Ladies Aid Society, the Alter Guild of the Church, charter member of the Wheatfield Senior Citizens.     NORTH TONAWANDA - Reuben A. Stenzel, 53, of no permanent address, who was arrested at 9 p.m. Thursday on a disorderly conduct charge, was found hanged on
    the door of his cell at police headquarters. The body was found at 2 a.m. today (Nov. 2, 1962) with a blanket twisted around the neck by Lt. Charles Clerk. Coroner Dr. John C. Kinzley pronounced Stenzel dead. No death certificate was issued at press time.
    Stenzel was arrested, police said, for causing a disturbance at his former rooming house, 16 Allen St. Surviving are two sons, Donald Stenzel, Tonawanda, and Douglas Stenzel, stationed in Japan with the U.S. Army; a daughter, Mrs. Oscar (Diane) Buchholz, Wheatfield; four sisters, Mrs. John Bross, this city, Mrs. Eleanora Mellenthine, Mrs. Irvin Stoelting and Mrs. Arthur Stoelting, all of Wheatfield; two brothers, Wilbert Stenzel, Tonawanda, Carl Stenzel, Wheatfield; and six grandchildren. A service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Fretthold Funeral Home. Burial was being arranged.

    Mathilda A. Stoelting (Stenzel), age 96, of the Town of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 8, 2010 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on August 31, 1913 to the late Charles and Mary (Penslien) Stenzel. She attended St. John Ev. Lutheran School and the Felton Grammar School in North Tonawanda. Mathilda was a longtime member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where she was a member of the Altar Guild, Quilters, member of the Lutheran Woman's Missionary League and the Wheatfield Senior Citizens. Mathilda enjoyed baking, playing cards and picking strawberries.Survivors include four children, Duane A. Stoelting of Wheatfield, Helen M. Haseley of Walmore, Margaret E. Stuenkel of Cleveland, OH and Mary Lou Milroy of Niagara Falls; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Erna Stenzel of Wheatfield and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur J. Stoelting on March 18, 1995 - they were united in marriage June 15, 1935; three sisters and four brothers. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield, on Sunday from 11:30 AM-3:30 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N.     Obituary of Marvin E. Stoelting
    Marvin E. Stoelting, age 86, of Pekin and husband of the late Phyllis (nee Mielke) Stoelting entered into rest on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his home. Marvin was born on August 23, 1934 in North Tonawanda, NY, he is the son of the late Erwin and the late Ruth (Stenzel) Stoelting. He attended Niagara Falls High School. Marvin married Phyllis Mielke on August 25, 1956 at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Pekin, she predeceased him in 2010. Marvin served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959, he was stationed in Germany as an auto mechanic in the motor pool. Marvin worked his entire life at the family business Stoelting Machine Inc. in Bergholz as a machinist and Vice Present. He was a former elder for St. Andrews Lutheran Church, past President, EMT and life member of Tri-Community Ambulance Inc. Marvin was in the first EMT class held at NCCC. Marvin enjoyed hunting, working and spending time with family and friends at social gatherings and events.Surviving are his son Randy Stoelting; his sister Nancy (Leonard) Wienke; his grandchildren Justin (Katie) Stoelting, Kari (Nick) Piazza and Kaylee Stoelting, also surviving is a great granddaughter on the way; his sister in-law Karen Stoelting and several nieces and nephews. Marvin is predeceased by a son Kevin Stoelting in 2015 and his brother Wayne Stoelting in 2015.Funeral services will be held privately with his family.     Wayne C. Stoelting, age 77, of Bergholz, was called to his heavenly home at his residence on May 31, 2015 while under the care of his loving family and Niagara Hospice. Born May 17, 1938 in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Erwin and Ruth (Stenzel) Stoelting.

    Wayne was the owner of Stoelting Machine, Inc. on Niagara Falls Blvd., a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz where he served as a past elder, school board president and basketball coach. He was also a member of the Bergholz Fire Company for 56 years and was a past president and chief, Niagara County Fire Association, Niagara County Chief's Association, WNYVFA, FASNY, Niagara County Sheriff's Snowmobile Patrol, Wheatfield Business Association, a founding member and past president of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., and founding member of the Bergholz German Band. Hobbies and interests included fast pitch softball, bowling, gardening, and spending quality time with his family.

    Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Karen (DeVantier) Stoelting, who were united in marriage on February 20, 1960; four children, Dennis (Diane) Stoelting, Gail (late Mark) Carrier, Laura (Steve) Rohring and Jonathan Stoelting; nine grandchildren, Christine, Hannah, Cory, Emma, Alex, Jake, Luke, Rachel and Grace; a brother, Marvin (late Phyllis) Stoelting; sister, Nancy (Leonard) Wienke; and several nieces and nephews.

    Donald Stenzel, 66, of Elderberry Place, Cayuga Village, who had worked as a maintenance supervisor in the city's waste water treatment plant, died Saturday (Oct. 30, 1999) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
    He was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools.
    Stenzel served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956.
    He worked in the waste water treatment plant from 1970 until retiring in 1991.
    Stenzel was a member of Forest Avenue Church of God and the Retired Men's Service Club.
    He enjoyed playing golf and horseshoes with his son.
    Survivors include his wife, the former Joann Langford; a son, Scott; three daughters, Pam Snyder of Tonawanda, Sandy Shepler of Schenectady and Laurie Balcom of Youngstown; three stepdaughters, Darlene Cappetta of New Milford, Conn., Rhonda Healey of Hicksville, OH, and Tammy Klinger; three stepsons, Kevin Klinger, Jeffery Klinger and Tom Klinger; a sister, Diane Buchholz of Wellsville; a brother, Douglas of Montrose, Scotland; five grandchildren; and 19 stepgrandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton

    Dianne C. Buchholz, 84,  formerly of Hallsport Road passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Northgate Health Care in North Tonawanda, N.Y.  She was born on November 9, 1938 in Lockport, NY, the daughter of the late Rueben and Hilda (Schimschack) Stenzel. On June 7, 1958 in Bergholz she married hee husband of sixty-one years, Oscar L. Buchholz, who predeceased her on September 21, 2019.
    She was raised in Bergholz, NY in Niagara County. She also formerly resided in Lockport and North Tonawanda. She moved to the Wellsville area in 1983. During her early years, Dianne was a waitress for her Aunt and Uncle.  She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family.
    She is survived by: three daughters, Corinne (Ralph) Maday of SC, Brigette (James) Grawe of North Tonawanda, and Donna (Duane) Moderacki of North Tonawanda; six grandchildren, Adam, James, Jennifer, Jamie, Jozef, and Brett; twelve great-grandchildren, Olivia, Addison, Kendal, Carter, Ryan, Ella, Samuel, Brigette, Sophia, Leah, Allie, and William; one brother, Douglas (Gayle) Stenzel of FL; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was predeceased by: one brother, Donald Stenzel.
    Friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in
    Wellsville (34 West State Street) from 11 to 1pm. Her funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the
    funeral home, with subsequent burial in Stannards Cemetery.

    Randy M. Stoelting, 62, of Ransomville and Pekin entered into rest unexpectedly on December 04, 2022, at ECMC. Randy was born on July 24, 1960, to the late Marvin and Phyllis (Nee Mielke) Stoelting. He attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School till 8th grade going on to graduate from Niagara Wheatfield High School and the University of Buffalo, receiving a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.Randy worked for many years as a laborer with the family business, Stoelting Machine Inc. in the Hamlet of Bergholz, until his retirement. After retirement, he found himself carrying out the duties as a funeral assistant, being the “right hand man” to his dear close friends Stephen and Brad at the Hardison Funeral Home Inc. and helping Stephen assist several other funeral homes in the area. He loved to spend time with his family and friends going to raffles, parties and enjoying, food and a few cold Mountain Dews. Randy along with his parents and brother were life members of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. Randy his father, and brother were also life members of Tri-Community Ambulance Inc. with over 20 years of service His three children were his entire world, until his first granddaughter Lucy was born on December 3rd, 2020, Randy loved their weekly babysitting days, Tuesdays and Thursdays were Lucy and Papa days. On November 15th, 2022, his second granddaughter Alessia was born and even though their time together was short he absolutely loved her and cherished their time. Randy’s third granddaughter Clare joined this world on December 6th, 2022, shortly after his passing, but it was known that he already loved her and will continue to in spirit.Surviving are his children; Justin (Katie) Stoelting, Kari (Nick) Piazza, Kaylee Stoelting; his granddaughters, Lucy Stoelting, Alessia Piazza and Clare Stoelting; several aunts, an uncle, many cousins, and many dear friends who were more like family. Besides his parents Randy is predeceased by his brother Kevin Stoelting.A graveside service will be held privately. Burial will be in St. Andrew Lutheran Church Cemetery.     Kevin R. Stoelting born in Niagara Falls, New York on September 8, 1964, he was the son of Marvin and Phyllis (Mielke) Stoelting. Kevin attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and was a 1982 Graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and 1984 graduate of Niagara County Community College. He worked as an arborist, machinist, mechanic and welder at the family business, Stoelting Machine, Inc. for his whole life. Kevin was a lifetime member of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin, where he was the head chowder chef, and he shot darts in the T-NT electronic dart league. Kevin loved his family and friends, helped anyone in need, and cherished every moment spent with his nieces and nephew, Kari, Kaylee and Justin. Kevin entered into rest and was called to his heavenly home on December 14, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, New York at the age of 51.

    Predeceased by his mother in 2010, he is also survived by his father and a brother, Randy. At Kevin's request, a graveside service was conducted by the Rev. R.P. Vogeler, in St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery on December 18, 2015, with no prior visitation. Memorial contributions may be made To St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
