Pierce Avenue Resident Succumbs in Buffalo Hospital; Was Long Ill
Mrs. Cordelia Dietrich, wife of Walter Dietrich, 2209 Pierce avenue, died in the General hospital, Buffalo, today, after a long illness. Funeral services will be held in the home, 2209 Pierce avenue, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and in St. Paul's Lutheran church, Eighteenth street and Cleveland avenue, at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. Gustav Ziemer officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery at Bergholtz.
Mrs. Dietrich had been ill since last November. She was born in Illinois and had lived in this city 12 years and during that time had made many friends. Besides her husband, Mrs. Dietrich is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Huth and the Misses Helen and Margaret Dietrich, and two sons, Ernest and Arthur Dietrich, all of this city; four brothers, Albert A. Schultz, Altamont, III., and Rudolph D., Fred G. and Ernest A. Schultz, all of this city, and a grandchild, Marlene Huth, also of this city.

WILSON - Elizabeth Marie Schaal, 57, of Cambria-Wilson Road, died Monday (Dec. 16, 1996) at the Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, Newfane. The Niagara Falls native was born Nov. 29, 1939, the daughter of Chester and Gladys (Schultz) Morton. On April 12, 1958, she married Elton Schaal in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wilson.
Mrs. Schaal and her husband owned and operated a farm in Wilson. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Wilson Town Board, where she served for 15 years.
She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wilson and the Gnostic Guild in Wilson.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Preston, of Ithaca, Nancy Simmons of Northfield, Vt., and Gloria Ierardi of Syracuse; a sister, Martha Kutas of Hamburg; and , three graridchildren.

Dorothy (Schultz) Ford of Williamsville, NY died on October 2, 2018 shortly before her 89th birthday. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she graduated from Niagara Falls High School and SUNY Buffalo State, where she studied to be a teacher.
She lived most of her life in Lewiston, NY where she was an elementary school teacher for 25 years in the Lewiston Porter School System. She loved children and in turn was beloved by her students and their parents. In 1986, she was named Teacher of the Year for the district.
She loved her family above all else and in turn was deeply loved and adored. She was a faithful woman and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Williamsville.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Donald Ford, her children, Lynn Ford-Somma (Joseph), Daniel Ford (Carolyn) and Timothy Ford (Rebecca), five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on October 13th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 68 Eagle St., Williamsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.

Funeral services for Edna A. Schoonover, who owned and operated the Bergholz Restaurant and also worked at Heuer's Dairy, which was owned by her parents, will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday in St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Church, 18th Street at Cleveland Avenue.
Private burial will be in St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Cemetery in Bergholz.
Mrs. Schoonover, 84, died Saturday (Feb. 18, 1995) in St. Mary's Manor.
The former Edna Heuer lived most of her life in the LaSalle area of the city, then moved to Youngstown Road in Youngstown, where she lived for 17 years, before moving to St. Mary's Manor.
She and her late husband, Arthur, operated the Bergholz Restaurant from 1959 until his death in 1969.
In addition to working at her parents' dairy, she also worked at Diffine's Dairy.
She was a member of St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Eileen Rinker of Youngstown, and two grandchildren

He was also employed by Niagara County at one time and moved to Florida five years ago. He was a member of St. Paul Calvary Lutheran Church here. He is survived by his wife, Elfriede Boes Heuer; a son, Richard F. Heuer of Wadsworth, OH; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Norma) Costo of this city; and five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
