SANBORN. April 19 - Funeral
services were held Saturday afternoon
for Miss Helen Wendt. 74. of
Saunders Settlement road, who died
Thursday at the DeGraff Memorial
hospital. North Tonawanda. following
a long period of falling health.
Services were held at the home at
2 p.m. following with public ser-
vices at St. Peter's Lutheran church,
Walmore, at 2:30 o'clock. Interment
was in Walmore cemetery. The
bearers were Henry Schultz, George
c. Haseley, Hubert Haseley, George
A. Haseley, Phillip Haseley and Nor-
Norman
Hasiey.
Born In the homestead. Saunders
Settlement road, she was the daughter
of the late Christian and Frederika
Mercier Wendt. and ls survived
by one brother. Philip P.
Wendt. Saunders Settlement road.
Five other brothers, including the
late William P. Christ. Fred. Albert
and John Wendt, all predeceased
her.
