    Services for Howard F. Siegman, a volunteer firefighter for 45 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
    Siegman, 67, of Homeyer Road, died Tuesday (May 2, 1995) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after apparently suffering a heart attack.
    He was born in Wheatfield and was a member of St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company for 45 years. He served as treasurer and fire chief and was an active fire police officer.
    Siegman was a life member of the Niagara County Volunteer Firemen's Association, the Niagara County Fire Police Association and a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was superintendent of the church cemetery.
    Survivors include his wife, the former Loretta J. Severance; a daughter, Kathleen Greenland of Cambria; two sons, Jeffrey and Jay; two brothers, Lester and Roger "Pete"; and two grandchildren.

    Howard married SEVERANCE, Loretta June on 12 Aug 1950 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY. Loretta (daughter of SEVERANCE, Raymond E and JACKSON, Gladys L) was born on 23 Feb 1930 in Wilcox, Elk County, PA; died on 14 Jan 2014 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY.     JAY R. SIEGMAN, age 57 of Wheatfield, NY, was called to his heavenly home on April 18, 2022, while at the Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, Town of Lewiston, NY. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on January 18, 1965; son of the late Howard and Loretta (Severance) Siegman. Jay was employed at Snyder Industries, as a machinist for 33 years, until his massive stroke in 2019. A life long member of St. John Lutheran Church, in Wheatfield, also a member of St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company for 39 years, the NYSVF Judging Association- Western Division, and enjoyed deer hunting.Survivors include his wife, Kimberly (Prantera) Siegman; two children, Nicholas Henneberger and Sarah Siegman; three fur children, Bear, Roxy, and Duke; a sister, Kathleen Greenland (Wally Rowell); uncle, Pete (Judy) Siegman; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Jay was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Siegman.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday (April 23) from noon until 4:00 p.m. Members of the St. Johnsburg Fire Company will conduct a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Funeral service will take place following the visitation at 4:00 p.m., with the Rev. Michael Borgstede, officiating. A private interment, along with the family, will take place in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, or St. Johnsburg Fire Company.
