WHEATFIELD - Helen I. Roberts, a Wheatfield homemaker, died Thursday in Elderwood Health Care at CrestWood. She was 80.
Born Helen Loeschke in Niagara Falls, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, sports and bingo. She was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bergholz.
Her husband, Douglas A. Sr., died in 2003.
Survivors include a son, Douglas A. Jr.; and three sisters, Alice Schultz, Norma Scherrer and Ruth Haseley.
A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road.
