August Sattelberg, aged 71 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ernest Nagel, of Broad street, at 4 p.m. Saturday. Deceased had been ill for nearly a year and had been confined to his bed for the past seven months. He resided in Martinsville for more than 40 years, where he was well known. A brother and a sister and two sons and two daughters survive him. The funeral will be held from the house at 1 p. m. and from the Lutheran church at Martinsville at 2:30. Interment at Martinsville cemetery.

Frederick Sahr, 87, Served with Distinction with Union Army Cavalry
NORTH TONAWANDA. Dec. 1.- Frederick Sahr, 87 years old, the last Civil War veteran in the Tonawandas, died Sunday at his home, Niagara Falls boulevard and Sweeney street, North Tonawanda. Born in Germany, Mr. Sahr left that country when three days old, coming to America with his parents and locating in the Martinsville section of North Tonawanda, residing there until his death. During the Civil War he served with distinction in the Union Army as a cavalryman. He was an organizer of W. B. Scott post, G. A. R. Ten years after the war Mr. Sahr began boating on the Erie Canal. He was the owner of a fleet of three boats, which he operated until the close of 1915. He then retired. He is survived by his wife, Ida; three sons, Frederick, Jr., Gustav and Christian Sahr; four daughters, Mrs. Louis Newman, Mrs. Otto Neumann and Miss Eleanor Sahr, all of the Tonawandas, and Mrs. Edward Rosseau,. Barker,. N. Y.; seven grandchildren, three brothers, Martin and Philip Sahr of the Tonawandas and Louis Sahr, New York City, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Peters, North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Charles Sattelberg, Detroit, Mich. The funeral will be.held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and a half-hour later at St. Paul's church, North Tonawanda, the Rev. F. A. Hinners officiating.

John Sattelberg, 77 years old, died last night at the home of his son, Adolph Sattelberg, Shawnee road. Mr. Sattelberg was born in Martinsville and had reisided in that locality all(sic) his life. He is survived by three sons, William and John Sattelberg of Unionville, Mich., and Adolph; one daughter, Mrs. George Pfitzinger of North Tonawanda; four sisters, Mrs. August Rossow of Newfabe, Mrs. Jacob Gaul and Mrs. David Moyer of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Dorothy Ewald of Unionville; two brothers, Paul Sattelberg of Buffalo and Charles Sattelberg of Unionville, and seventeen grandchildren. Charles Wurl, 72, of 6 Filner Ave., failed to respond to resuscitation
treatment in his home at 1:55 p.m. Sunday and was pronounced dead of a heart

Mr. Wurl was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Rescue Fire Company
and the Firemen's Benevolent Association.

Mrs. Louise V. Sattelberg, 44 years, died Saturday evening at her home on the Niagara Falls boulevard, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Sattelberg was a life-long resident of the Martinsville section of North Tonawanda.

She is survived by her husband Albert; a daughter, Melva; two sons, Albert Jr., and Alvin; a sister, Miss Amanda Wurl and three brothers, Edward and Alvin Wurl, all of North Tonawanda and Martin Wurl, Buffalo.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence and half an hour later from St. Martin’s church, Rev. Theophil Berner officiating. Interment in St. Martin’s cemetery.
