Mrs. Lydia Moll, 65, of 1162 Ruie Rd., died yesterday afternoon in the DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda she was a member of the St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Ladies Guild. Mrs. Moll is survived by her husband, William C.; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Coughlin; two sons, Howard J. and Raymond G., and three grandchildren, all of North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the residence and at 2:45 p.m. from the St. Matthew’s Church. The Rev. Paul Gassman will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Matthew’s cemetery.

PENDLETON, Feb 25 - The Funeral
of the late John Toellner of Amherst
was held from St. Paul's church Sun-
day afternoon. Mr. Toellner was a
member of St. Paul's. This young
man's death occurred on Thursday
when he was found in the barn by his
mother, apparently shot by a shot gun
accidentally. Mr. Towllner who was
28 years old leaves his wife, two sons,
his mother and one brother, Henry, of
Tonawanda. Burial was at Shawnee.

Howard J. Moll, 39, of 1210 Ruie Rd., died suddenly yesterday morning of a heart attack. He was the son of the late Mrs. Lydia Moll of 1192 Ruie Rd., whose funeral was held yesterday afternoon. Born in Bergholz, he lived most of his life in North Tonawanda. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, St. Johnsburg. Surviving are his wife, Josephine, nee Pankow; a daughter, Karen Elaine; his father, William C. Moll; a brother, Raymond, and a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Coughlin of North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M. from the residence and at 2:30 P.M. from the St. John’s Church. The Rev. J. Walter Thiemecke will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s cemetery.

Raymond C. Moll, 50, of 1342
Nash Road, North Tonawanda,
a partner in a Tonawanda dairy
firm, was killed Wednesday
(Jan. 11, 1966) when his delivery
truck overturned aftei a
collision in the Town of Amherst.
Officers said the man, a partner
on the Papke-Moll D a i ry
Inc., 258 Young St., Tonawanda,
was driving north on Campbell
Boulevard and an auto
driven by Glenn R. Honsberger,
42, of 6440 Goodrich Road, Clarence
Center, was westbound on
N. French Road.
The accident occurred about
10:25 a.m. Mr. Moll was pronounced
dead at the scene. He
suffered a broken neck, fractured
skull and internal injuries.
Mr. Honsberger, who was
given a summons charging he
went through a stop sign, was
treated at Meyer Memorial Hospital
for forehead cuts.
Mr. Moll is survived by his
widow, Loretta Frieling Moll;
one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth
(Judith) Beutel of the Town of
Wheatfield; a son, Roland R.
Moll, at home; three grandchildren;
his father, William C.
Moll and a stepmother; also a
sister, Mrs. Alice Coughlin, all
of North Tonawanda.

JoAnn Marie (Toellner) Durick, age 80 of Wheatfield, NY, was called peacefully to her heavenly home on August 22, 2021, in her residence at Wheatfield Commons. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on March 20, 1941; daughter of the late Clifford and Hilda (Siegmann) Toellner. JoAnn was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Wheatfield. She had been employed with the Niagara Wheatfield Central School District, and was a dedicated loving mother and homemaker. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Durick on May 3, 2002; and a brother, Jerry Toellner.Survivors include two sons, Kelly Durick and Steven (Stephanie) Durick both of North Carolina; a sister, Betty Brown of Wheatfield; sister in law, Judy Toellner of Arizona; grandchildren, Alexzandrea, Steven, Peyton and Christian all from North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Borgstede, on Wednesday (August 25) at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road, in Wheatfield. There will be a visitation period from 9-00 - 10:00 prior to the service, in the church. Interment will follow the service, in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or School.Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, NY.

RAMAH, NM -
Jerry W. Toellner, age 70, of Ramah, NM, went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 18, 2014. He died peacefully at his Gilbert, AZ home surrounded by family. He was born on July 12, 1943 in North Tonawanda, NY, where he was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 463 and worked over 20 years for Haseley Trucking.
Jerry was also a 50-year member of the St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Department there. He moved to Arizona in 1986 where he started his own business J & J Excavating & Grading. Once retiring, he moved to Ramah, NM, where he built his dream home in the tall pines of Timberlake Ranch. He was active in the community and served as a member of the board of directors responsible for all road maintenance, repair and snow removal. His greatest love was his family and his hobbies included hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR. Jerry never knew a stranger, he talked to anyone and was loved by everyone.
Predeceased by his daughter, Michele. He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters, Jill Pennington (Mike) and Stacy Smith-Mills (Mark); grandchildren, Shelby, Lacey, Dillon, Dalton, Ryan and Tyler; and sisters, Betty Brown and JoAnn Durick of North Tonawanda, NY.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 25th from 5-8 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85207. Service will be on Saturday, April 26th at 1:00 PM at Christ's Greenfield Lutheran Church, 425 S. Greenfield Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85234. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Jerry to Christ's Greenfield Lutheran Church.
