Husband of Lois Urtel, father of Mrs. Dale (Frances) Neumann of North Tonawanda; stepfather of Mrs. James (Joan) Mangan of Youngstown, NY, James McCarthy of Batavia, Genesee County, NY, and Richard McCcarthy of Las Cruces, New Mexico; brother of Edward Urtel of Ransomville, N. Y., and Mrs. James (Florence) Dunn of San Jose, Calif.; also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held Friday (July 12th) at 1 P.M., from the Lane Funeral Home, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, with Mr. Nicholas Gehl officiating. Interment Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday.

Neumann who died in 2013, mother of Mark (Gail) Neumann, Sue (Thomas) Mulvoy and Kevin (Debbi) Neumann, grandmother of Corin (Wesley) Czajkowski, Bruce (fiancée' Laurie) Clough, Adam (Brianna) Clough, Courtney and Brittany Neumann, great-grandmother of Emily and Dylan Clough; daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor Urtel. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.), in Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 AM Sunday October 30, 2022. Everyone welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Frances may be made to Lung Cancer Research, c/o Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
