    ROCHESTER — Jean Grant Kelley, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on January 13, 2012, at St. John's Home in Rochester, NY. Born on October 14, 1917 in Elk Garden, WV, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Grant. Jean moved to Niagara Falls with her parents and late sister, Mary Louise (Jagow) in 1930. She attended Pacific Avenue School and was a graduate of the former LaSalle Jr./Sr. High School. On August 10, 1940, Jean married her loving husband of 49 years, William J. Kelley. Bill predeceased her in 1989. She was employed by the Power City Bank and the Frontier Bronze Co. for several years. In 1979 Jean retired from the Niagara Falls School system after 22 years of service as secretary at Evershed and 60th Street Schools. She was a charter member of the LaSalle Mother's Club, a lifelong member of The Eastern Star and member of Riverside Presbyterian Church.

    Jean is survived by her son, Paul (Margaret) Kelley of Rochester, NY.

    Jean's family would like to thank the staff on Reservoir 2 at St. John's Home for the loving care Jean received during her stay there.

    Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Ave., on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM, with Pastor Laura Norris Buisch officiating. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery in Pendleton, NY.     Mary Louise (Grant) Jagow, of Michigan Avenue, Niagara Falls, died on Thursday, January 18, 2007 in Heathwood Health Care Center. She was 86.
    She was born in Cumberland, Maryland on November 20, 1920, a daughter of the late David S. and Mary (Gordon) Grant. She moved to the area as child. She attended area schools and was in the first class to graduate from LaSalle High School.
    Mrs. Jagow worked for Chemical Warfare in the 1940’s. She also worked for the Niagara Falls Board of Education as a reading aid. She retired in the 1980’s. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and helped with its newsletter. She enjoyed traveling and socializing with her friends.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward N. Jagow in 1988.
    Survivors include two children, Robert G. Jagow of Niagara Falls and Nancy Olivero (Donald) of Lockport; a sister, Jean Kelley of Rochester; a cousin, LaVonne Hill of Niagara Falls; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Friends may call Saturday from 2-4, 7-9 PM and Sunday from 1-4 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM in Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2759 Military Road, Town of Niagara. The interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton, NY.
