    Florence H. Klettke Nevelson, age 86 of Trumbull, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 in St. Joseph’s Center. Florence was born in Niagara Falls, NY, daughter of the late Alex and Ida Kanehl Klettke and was a longtime Bridgeport resident. She was an art teacher at Joel Barlow High School for twenty-six years, prior to her retirement. Florence was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral and was active with their Emmaus Group. Survivors include her daughters Elsbeth and Maria Nevelson, four nephews Russell, Neal, Bart, and Matthew Klettke. She was predeceased by her brother Ivan Klettke. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., meeting directly in St. Augustine Cathedral, 399 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial.     Deceased Name: IVAN R. KLETTKE, FIRE POLICE OFFICER
    Ivan R. "Corky" Klettke , 72, an active member of the Bergholz Fire Company until his death, died Tuesday (April 18, 2000) in his home while under the care of Niagara Hospice. He was the founder of Klettke Land Surveyors and a member of the Niagara Frontier Land Surveyors Association. Klettke was born in Niagara Falls. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees from 1950 to 1954 during the Korean War, and was a charter member of the Navy Seabees Veterans of America Island X-8, North Tonawanda. A member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, he had served as vice chairman, chairman, trustee, elder and membership chairman of the Lutheran Laymen's League. Klettke was a member of the Fire Police of the Bergholz Fire Company and a member of the Niagara County Fire Police Association. Klettke participated in the Bergholz Bowling League for 45 years and was a member of the Wheatfield American Legion Horseshoe League for about 12 years. He also enjoyed traveling. Survivors include his wife, the former Jean Camann; four sons, Neal of Sanborn, Russell of Chicago, Bart of Lewiston and Matthew; a sister, Florence Nevelson of Bridgeport, Conn.; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Luther Street. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery
