    William F. Mielke, Cambria Farmer Drops Dead on Farm
    Stricken at 4 o'clock Wednesday while working on his farm, Cambria road, town of Cambria, William P. Mielke, collapsed and died. Coroner Jacob B. Helwig, North Tonawanda, attributed death to a heart ailment. Born in Germany, Mr. Mielke came to the United States he was 18 years of age and had lived in the town of Cambria ever since. Survivors include three sons, Arthur R. Mielke, at home; Walter G. Mielke, Bergholtz; William C. Mielke, Bergen; two daughters, Mrs. Emma Bluhm, Packard road, town of Niagara; Mrs. Lambert Drury, Warsaw; two brothers, Herman Mielke, Pekin: Frank Mielke, Sanborn and a sister, Mrs. Matilda Voelker, Town of Cambria; and 11 grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday at the home with burial in North Ridge Cemetery

    MRS. MATILDA VOELKER
    DIES AT CAMBRIA
    CAMBRIA, N. Y.-Mrs. Matilda
    M. Voelker, 78 years old, widow of
    Ferdinand Voelker, died Friday at
    the family home In the town of
    Cambria. Mrs. Voelker is survived
    by one son, Elmer Voelker, and one
    daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Bohnestadt,
    both of Cambria, and two
    brothers, Herman and Frank
    Mlelke, of Pekin, N. Y. Four grandchildren,
    one great grandchild and
    several nieces and nephews also
    survive.
    Funeral services were held from
    the home of the daughter, Mrs.
    Bohnestadt. Upper Mountain road,
    town of Cambria, this afternoon
    at 2 o'clock, and at 2:30 a t St.
    Andrew's church at Pekln. The
    Rev. Charles A. Schmidt will officiate.
    Interment will be ln St
    Andrew's cemetery.

    died suddenly today at Mt. St.
    Mary's Hospital, Niagara Falls.
    Funeral services will be held at
    the Cobler Funeral Home, Niagara
    Falls, Monday -at 1:30 p.m. and
    at '2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran
    Church. The Rev. Lawrence E.
    Herfurth will officiate. Interment
    will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
    Mrs. Bluhm was born in the
    Town of Cambria, April 27, 1888,
    and had lived in this area all her
    life. Her husband, August G.
    Bluhm, died several years ago. She
    was an active member of Trinity

    LOCKPORT — Elsworth A. Bohnstadt passed away October 9, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born January 2, 1919 in Cambria, he was the son of Rudolph and Esther (Voelker) Bohnstadt. Elsworth served in the US Army during WW II. He worked as a janitor at Mount View Health Care Facility. He enjoyed being with his family, liked to tease and joke. Despite many illnesses, Elsworth always had a smile on his face; though a private man he was a very loving man. He will be missed very much.

    Elsworth was predeceased by his wife, Adeline (Trombley) Bohnstadt on May 31, 2008. He is survived by his children, Judith (James) Hoste of Lockport and Arnold Bohnstadt of Easely, SC; grandfather of Tammy (Gregory) Hoste of Lockport, Michelle (Chad) Norton, Angela Mooreland, Timothy Bohnstadt and Jason (Jodie) Bohnstadt, all of South Carolina; step-grandfather of Allen Hoste of Lockport and Cheryl May of Michigan; great- grandfather of 13 and step-great-grandfather of three; brother-in-law of James Trombley of Lockport and also several nieces and nephews.

    NORTH TONAWANDA — Norma L. (nee Mielke) Stolzenburg, age 90, of North Tonawanda, NY, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Born in the Town of Cambria, NY to the late Elmer and Amanda (Gombert) Mielke, she was the wife of Franklin F. Jagow, who entered into rest in 1966; the wife of David Stolzenburg, who predeceased her in 1997; and was the sister of the late Donald Mielke, Marian Ellman and Phyllis Stoelting. Norma attended LaSalle Jr. and Sr. High Schools. She had been employed as an assembler at Radatron in North Tonawanda for over 20 years. Norma was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Wilson. Her joy was her family and their time together. She enjoyed collecting recipes and was well-known for her delicious pies and homemade baked goods.

    She is survived by three sons, Rev. Wayne F. (Maureen) Jagow of the Town of Lockport, NY, Daniel J. (Maria) Jagow of Coppell, TX, and Robert G. (Laura) Jagow of Lakeland, FL; six grandchildren, Rev. Andrew W. A graduate of Wilson High School; she was a lifelong member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin, where she was an active member of the Altar Guild, Ladies Aid, former Sunday School teacher for 35 years and former organist. Phyllis was also a member of the American Legion Sanborn Post-Ladies Auxiliary. She was a very caring person and always there to help others in need. Her hobbies and interests were cooking, baking and gardening. Survivors include her husband, Marvin E. Stoelting. They were united in marriage August 25, 1956; two sons, Randy Stoelting of Ransomville and Kevin Stoelting of Pekin; a sister, Norma Stolzenburg of North Tonawanda; and three grandchildren, Justin, Kari and Kaylee. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Mielke; and a sister, Marion Ellman. A private graveside service will be held with the family in St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery, with no prior visitation.     Gary N. Mielke, age 83, of Niagara Falls, NY, beloved husband of Barbara (Milleville) Mielke, passed away on March 1, 2016 after a short illness.
    He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, filled with faith and trust in his savior Jesus Christ. A member of First Assembly where he served on the board as a Deacon. Gary served in the United States Navy and was President and owner of National Traffic Service for over 30 years.
    He was the father of Deborah Leavoy (Mielke), Douglas Mielke, and Dianne Mueller (Douglas); four grandchildren, Kristene DiMarco (Jordan), Jaclyn, Deanna, Katie and two great-grandchildren, Lorelai and Nico.
    A Memorial Service is scheduled Friday, March 4th at 10:30 AM at First Assembly on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Niagara Falls, NY.
