    school attended the funeral.

    BRAUER - Evelyn (nee Deuer) Brauer, 77, Sunday (August 5, 1984) after a long illness. A former member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Mrs. Brauer had been a nurse at DeGraff Memorial Hospital and Remington Rand (Sweeney St.), also a Public Health Service nurse at Ellis Island and in Seattle, Wash. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Adolph Sattelberg of North Tonawanda; two nieces, Mrs. Richard (Agnes) Kelley and Miss Jean Sattelberg of North Tonawanda; five nephews, Donald (Beverly), Laverne (Mildred) of North Tonawnada, Walter (Elinor) of Boulder City, Nev., Stanley (Naomi) of Napierville, Ill., and Adolph Jr. (Nellie) Sattelberg of Seattle, Wash.; 30 great nieces and nephews and 32 great-great nieces and nephews. Private funeral services were held in Seattle on Tuesday. If desired, memorials may be made to Friedens Cemetery Fund of DeGraff Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Sattelberg was born in North Tonawanda, August 23, 1921, son of the late Adolf and Florenna Sattelberg.Mr. Sattelberg served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was stationed at Clark Field in the Philippines and in New Guinea.Mr. Sattelberg retired from Thiele Oil. He began work there in 1950 and retired from there in 1986. Following retirement, he continued to help out family and friends with any type of general repair.Mr. Sattelberg was an active member of St. Martin Lutheran Church. He was a former president of the congregation, had served as an elder, was a trustee of the church, had been a Sunday School teacher and was a former Boy Scout leader.His interests included bowling, playing cards, travel and most importantly his family. Mr. Sattelberg was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed.Mr. Sattelberg is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mildred (nee Graff) Sattelberg of Wheatfield; his four children, Linda (James) Prohaska of Wheatfield, Dennis (Karen) Sattelberg of Wheatfield, Gail (Tom) Darnley of Leavenworth, KS and Cheryl (Rodney) Richardson of Alexandria, VA; brother of Stanley (Naomi) Sattelberg and Adolf (Nellie) Sattelberg; also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. RAINIER, WA — Stanley Elmer Sattelberg, age 85, of Salt Lake City, UT, formerly of North Tonawanda, passed away July 14, 2013, at Mt. Rainier, WA, while visiting his brother. Stan was born April 28, 1928 in North Tonawanda, son of the late Adolf and Florenna Sattelberg. He served in the U.S. Navy, attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a degree in civil engineering. In 1960 he married Naomi Belk. Stan worked for Chicago Bridge & Iron until his retirement. Stan's work took him to many places around the world. His greatest love was the outdoors - hiking, climbing and skiing. He climbed over 300 peaks and led many expeditions with friends; his final moments were spent doing what he loved most. Husband of Naomi Sattelberg; father of Chris (Mike) Parker; grandfather of Caitlin and Steven; brother of Adolf, late Lavern, late Jean, late Walter, late Donald Sattelberg, and late Anne Kelly; also survived by many extended family members. Family and friends are invited to call FRIDAY, July 26 from 2 to 3 PM at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, where funeral services will follow at 3 PM. The Rev. R.     Beloved husband of Karen Sattelberg; loving father of Jeff, Daryl, Steven and Rebecca; stepdad of Mark and Greg Siegmann; grandfather of 17 and many great grandchildren; Son of Mildred and late Lavern Sattelberg; brother of Linda Prohaska, Gail Darnley and Cheryl Richardson; also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
    Dennis was a very active life member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda; he was a longtime member of Adams Fire Company. Dennis worked at Bell Aerospace as senior design engineer he also had worked at Carlton, Moog and Sherwood he was an avid fishermen, hunter and golfer.
    The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday January 23, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Dr. North Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be held Friday January 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM from St. Martin Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined memorials may be made to St. Martin Lutheran Church.
