Born in North Tonawanda, New York, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Pauline (Jaeneske) Sahr. Lucille was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz. She was employed for many years at Remington Rand, and later at Hutchins Automotive, as a secretary.
Survivors include her son, Daniel (Cindy) Wittkop; a sister, June (Alfred) Henneberger; and several nieces and nephews. Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Ralph H. Wittkop, on October 9, 1991; and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be private, without visitation. Interment will be in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield, New York. Arrangements are with the DuBois Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 22, 2014, at Peace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls with the family present to greet friends from 5 to 7 PM.
