    LOCKPORT. July 15-A retired
    employe of the New York State
    Electric and Gas Corporation. Herman
    Sahr, 73. of 36 Prentice street.
    died last night at City hospital.
    Services will be held Saturday at
    2:30 pm. at lhe home. Burial will
    be In Hunt's Corners cemetery
    Mr. Sahr was born at Martins-
    ville, January 8, 1875, but lived most
    of his life here. Until seven years
    ago, he was semployed as a truck
    driver by the electric company.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
    Anna Sahr; a son, Elmer Sahr,,
    this city, and four sisters, Mrs. Allie
    Gusmeyer, Mrs. William Teckle and
    Mrs. Albert Klucko, of Mt. Clemens,
    Mich., and Mrs. August Ressell, of
    this city.

    LOCKPORT-Elmer Sahr, 58,
    36 Prentice St., was pronounced
    dead of natural causes upon
    arrival at Lockport Memorial
    Hospital Thursday (Dec. 5,
    1968). He had suffered a fainting
    spell while at Scirto's Restaurant,
    Lock Street and was
    taken to the hospital by emer-
    gency ambulance.
    Mr. Sahr had operated Sahr's
    Restaurant in Main Street, New
    fane, for many years until his
    retirement two years ago.
    He is survived by four aunts,
    Mrs. Mary Chambers, Mrs
    Daisy Posner, both of Lockport,
    Mrs. Emma Collins and Mrs.
    Anna Posner, both of Michigan,
    and several cousins.
    Friends may call from 2 to 3
    and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Prudden
    and Kandt Funeral Home where
    services will be held at 4 p.m
    Saturday.
    Burial will be in Pioneer Cem-
    etery,. Hunts Corners, Town of
    Newstead at the convenience of
    the family.
