William Schultz, sixty-nine years
old, a well-known stone mason, died
at his home on the Nash road yesterday
morning, after an illness of several
months. He was born in Germany
and had lived in the town of Wheatfield
most of his life. Besides his
widow, seven daughters, Mrs. Edward
Channell of Wolcottsville, Mrs. George
Peter of Martinsville, Mrs. Charles
Rockwood of Wilson, Mrs. William
Morwitz and the Misses Emma, Bertha
and Ells Schultz of St. Johnsburg,
and five sons, Albert, Gustav, Her-
man, Rudolph and Charles Schultz, all
of. St. Johnsburg, survive. The funeral
will be held from the family
home at 1:30 o'clock on Sunday afternoon
and an hour later from the St.
John's Lutheran church at St. Johnsville,
the Rev. William Albrecht officiating.
Burial will be made in St.
John's cemetery at St. Johnsburg.

Farmer Dies At Lockport
LOCKPORT - A farm laborer for many years, Charles W. Schultz, 66. of 304 Summit St., this city, died Tuesday (Sept. 15, 1959) at his home. Mr. Schultz, who had been ill the last four years, was born Dec. 11, 1893 in the Town of Wheatfield. He was the son of William and Amelia Rich Schultz. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Schultz lived in the Lockport area for 35 years. Survivors i n c l u d e three sisters, Mrs. Walter Desemo, Lockport; Mrs. Herman Ziehm and Mrs. William Warblow, both North Tonawanda, and two brothers, Herman Schultz, of Lockport, and Rudolf Schultz, of Chicago. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Joseph M. Kennedy Funeral Home. The Rev. Clarence S. Gee will officiate. Burial will be in Wright's Corners.

She was the wife of the late Franklin Sattelberg; beloved mother of Gary (Edwina) Sattelberg of Melbourne, FL, Dennis Sattelberg of Arizona, Linda (Edward) Lewis of Tonawanda, Lisa Nugent of Melbourne, FL and Sheila Hall of Buffalo; grandmother of ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the last of 11 brothers and sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Frances I. Meeker, 82, passed away on July 14, 2020 at Elderwood at Wheatfield in Niagara Falls, NY.  Born in North Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late George Staub and Hazel (Shultz) (late George) Stiles.
Frances married Karl Meeker at Saint James United Methodist Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Mr.  Meeker predeceased her in 2006.  In her spare time, Frances enjoyed playing Bingo and making crafts. 
Frances is survived by her children, Stefan (Margo) Kundl, Connie (Jeff) Krueger, and Susan (Russell) Jackman II; her grandchildren, Jenny (Brian) Scarpina, Shannon Krueger, Matthew Krueger, Katie (Neil) Canterbury, Jessica-Lynn Siracuse, Russell (Arden) Jackman III, and Tyler Jon Jackman; seven great-grandchildren, her brother, Carl (Linda) Stiles, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 18 years, Frances was predeceased by her grandchildren, Robert Hathaway and Chris Kundl, as well as her siblings, George (Carol) Staub and Paul (late Jane) Staub.

He also owned and operated Ridgeview Plumbing and Heating and ran a vegetable stand at the North Tonawanda and Niagara Falls markets for 15 years under the name Schendel Farms. A member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Ridge, he was on the church's Board of Elders for 12 years and in the church's adult choir for several years. He was a member of the Lutheran Laymen League for 20 years, the ABC Wilson Businessmen Bowling League on Townline Road for 20 years, the Niagara County Cooperative Extension in Lockport, and was involved in the construction of the St. Peter School and gymnasium. Survivors include his wife, Marion (Lindhurst); his father. George Schendel of Lockport; two sons, David of Lockport and Brian of Apalachian, (sic) N.Y.; two daughters. Mrs. Jerry (Brenda) Hurtgam of Ransomville. and Bonnie, at home; a sister, Mrs. Norman (Norma) Seabert of Lockport; and seven grandchildren. He was the son of the late Pearl (Bluhm) Schendel. Born in the Town of Cambria on January 24, 1935 to the late George and Pearl (Bluhm) and has been a lifelong resident.She graduated from Wilson High School in 1952 and then from the Millard Fillmore School for X-Ray Technician where Norma had a 40-year career; first at Millard Fillmore Hospital, then at Lockport Memorial Hospital and retired as Chief of X-Ray from Newfane Intercommunity Hospital where she worked for 32 years, retiring in 1992. On October 1, 1955, she was married to her beloved husband, Norman Seabert. Norma was a faithful member of St. Peters Lutheran Church at North Ridge, where she was the Sunday School Superintendent and the Choir Director for many years. After her retirement, Norma could always be found on her son's farm or at the North Tonawanda Market. She loved spending time with family, and enjoyed lending a helping hand to friends and Church. NIAGARA FALLS — Patricia L. (Ziehm) McGinniss, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was 69. She was born in North Tonawanda on October 14, 1942, a daughter of the late Arthur H. and Avis (Pasel) Ziehm.

She attended Tonawanda schools and moved to Niagara Falls in 1995. Mrs. McGinniss worked as a laundry aide for many years at Sheridan Manor Nursing Home in Tonawanda.

She is survived by her four children, Lori (Joe) Mundier, Gene (Christine) McGinniss, Kelly Tomicki and Don McGinniss. She is also survived by her siblings, Beverly (Richard) Frasier and Robert Ziehm; brother-in-law, Roger (late Shirley) Mix and eight grandchildren.

Our daddy, our warrior, our best friend, Roy Alvin Ziehm, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 14, 2015, in Denton, TX. His passing was peaceful and pain-free, and our hearts were filled with love as he flew as an angel to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We are proud of his tough fight to live and love, and are grateful that he is no longer in pain or suffering from his battle with esophageal stomach cancer and heart failure.

Roy Alvin Ziehm was born September 8, 1953, in North Tonawanda, NY to Alvin "Sonny" and Lois Ziehm. Roy operated Green Thumb Landscaping in his young career. He then worked as a UPS driver and manager for 16 years. During the last decade he was dedicated to caring for his second family, Lois and Don Johnson, by landscaping and working the Johnson family ranch and making sure they always had a friend at their doctor's appointments. Roy was a passionate and avid scratch golfer. He was a mentor to many and had a heart of gold. His family was his greatest joy and treasure.

Roy is survived by his life-long love, Sharon Pietrzykowski Ziehm, and his children, Sara Michelle Ziehm, Aaron Roy Ziehm; daughter-in-law, Taryn Walker Ziehm, Ashley Ziehm Brown, and son-in-law, Bryan Brown, and grandchildren, Alli, Jake, Carly and Hannah. He also leaves behind his mother, Lois Ziehm; his sisters and brothers, Gloria Zemaitis, David Ziehm, Mark Ziehm, Brenda Ziehm, Elaine Joyce, Janette Clapsadle and Karen Cowell.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 19, at the Johnson Family Ranch, 5575 FM 1830 in Argyle, TX from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and will continue at 4 p.m. at the VFW in Denton. He is the son of Lois (Ziehl) Ziehm and the late Alvin Ziehm. Stepfather of Kathy Ellis and Steven (Wanda) Simonds. Grandfather of Austin, Jared, Aaron, Colton and Brendan. Brother of Gloria (Vincent) Zemaitis, David (Jody) Ziehm, Brenda (Ken) Baardsen, Janette Clapsadle, Elaine (Peter) Joyce, Karen (William) Cowell, and the late Roy Ziehm; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
