MIDDLEPORT-Mable Szmak,
88, of 4242 Griswold St, died unexpectedly
Sunday at her home.
- She was* born May 25, 1900,
daughter of the late Henry and
Matilda (Williams^Jlruning and had
lived in Middleport most of her life.
Her husband, James Szmak, died in-
1976.
.She was mother of Mable Gilbert
of Lockport, Jean Cain of Gasport,
Mrs. Douglas (Betty) Ortman of
Middleport, and the. late Ronald
Szmak and Ernest Szmak. Also surviving
are 17 grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren, one sister,
Mildred Leffler of Medina; one
brother, Edgar Bruning of Medina;
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements, incomplete
at the "rime, are being made through
Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral
Home Inc., 38 State St.

SZMAK - Ronald J. of 8777
Fisk Rd., Akron, passed away
suddenly Wednesday, July 12,
1972, at the Lockport Memorial
Hospital. He is survived by his
wife, Marion (nee Wolter), two
sons, Kevin and Brian both at
home, his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
James Szmak of Middleport,
one brother, Ernest of Middleport,
three sisters, Mrs.
Mab'e Gilbert of Lockoort, Mrs.
Tames (Jean) Cain of Gasport,
Mrs. Douglas (Bettv) Ortman
of Lockport and several nieces
and nephews. Friends may call
Thursday evening from 7-9,
Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the
Wallace and Heath Funeral
Home Inc., Middleport. where
funeral services will be held
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock
with the Rev. Hilbert Huth
officiating. Burial Royalton
Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
