    Ronald W. Beck, Sr., age 70, of the Town of Wheatfield, died July 2, 2009 in Crestwood Health Care Facility, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Beck was born January 11, 1939 in Buffalo, NY. His parents were the late George and Eleanora (nee Schmidt) Beck. He owned and operated the R. W. Beck and Sons Trucking since 1983, maintaining the business for 25 years. Ronald was a former member of the National Guard. He was a member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Co. for over 45 years and a member of the Wheatfield Businessman's Association. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Behm) Beck; dear father of Ronald (Nancy) Beck, Jr. of Acworth, GA, David (Michele) Beck of Sanborn, Daniel (Debbie) Beck of Wheatfield and Susan (Robert) Schimschack of Wheatfield. Grandfather of Corey, Heather, Julie, Ashley, Robert, Daniel, Gary and Janelle; brother of Diane (Eres) Davidian of Watertown, NY, Katherine (Russell) Castrovona of Williamsville and the late George Beck, Jr.; uncle of many nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 AM, the Rev. Philip Sallach will officiate.
