Geraldine M. Tedesco (nee Meisenburg, Lamont), 89, of the Town of Tonawanda, Friday (July 3rd, 2015). Geraldine was predeceased by four brothers and one sister. Geri is survived by her husband Russell Tedesco; her children Linda Hayes, Thomas (Kathy) Lamont, Dale (Georgia) Lamont, Roxanne (Frank) Jackson, Candy (Dave) Daigler, Terry (Connie) Lamont, Tina Rydzik, Diane Tedesco and Dennis (Mary Ann)Tedesco, 14 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren. Geraldine was born in Tonawanda, NY on February 27th, 1926 to Barbara and John Meisenburg. She retired from Degraff Memorial Hospital after 23 years of service. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Friendship NY and a volunteer at Friendship Fire Hall. Geri loved to play bingo and cards.

Barbara was a former member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, and retired from Grayline of Niagara Falls. She was predeceased by her husband Guy S. Barbara is survived by her children Amy, Kelly (Raymond) Villa, Guy S. A youth, one month from graduation at North
Tonawanda High School, died in DeGraff Memorial
Hospital today shortly a f t e r being injured in an automobile
accident on N i a g a r a Falls Blvd.
Three teen-age passengers in
the car were injured. Fatally in-
jured was Gerald f. Zastrow, 17,
of 44 Fillner Ave., identified as the
driver. DeGraff Memorial Hospi-
tal said he suffered neck and
chest injuries.
Injured and listed in fair condition
were:
Mary Ellen Feck, 16. of 356 Old
Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda;
and Jean Smith, 18, of Palm-
er Rd., Ransomville, both of whom
suffered possible fractured legs,
and Michael Jensen, 17, of 580 S.
Wall St., North Tonawanda, who
suffered numerous contusions of
the face and legs.
The two couples had attended
the North Tonawanda High School
Senior Prom last night.
The Niagara County Sheriff's
Department said the accident occurred
about 4:05 a.m. on the!
boulevard about one-half mile
east of Ward Rd. The youth died
at 8 a.m.
Deputies reported the east-bound
car went off the left side of the
highway and struck a utility pole.
They said the three surviving pas-
sengers were asleep at the time
and unable to tell what happened.
The accident was investigated
by Deputies Kenneth Runge and
Donald Stern.
Young Zastrow was a native of
North Tonawanda. He was a mem-
ber of St. Christopher's Church,
Falls Blvd., the 4-H Club of Lock-
port and the Saddle Dusters of
Lockport.
His survivors include his par-
ents, Elmer and Ann Meisen-
burg Zastrow; two brothers, Don-
ald E. and Robert F.; two sis-
ters, Barbara A. and Debra L.,
and his grandmothers, Mrs. John
Meisenburg of Tonawanda and
Mrs. Herbert Zastrow of North
Tonawanda.

Obituary of Franklin Meisenburg

Franklin T. Meisenburg passed away February 10, 2019 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born December 29, 1944 in Buffalo, he was the son of Franklin and Ruth (Popp) Meisenburg.  Franklin served un the US Navy and worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM where he was a maintenance-technician for 33 years retiring in 1998.  He enjoyed milling, was an avid military collector, and deer hunting.
Franklin is survived by his wife of 50 years Louise (Bailey) Meisenburg; sons Richard (Adel) and Brian (Nicole) Meisenburg; grandchildren Samantha, Dakota, Autumn, and Anna; siblings David (Patricia) Meisenburg, Denise (Mark) Ward, Carol (Kevin) Bowerman, Lori (Mark) Hinman, and Beth (Dennis) Thompson; also several nieces and nephews.

David J. Meisenburg, of Wheatfield, NY died tragically in a motor vehicle accident on August, 18,2022. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on September 18, 1946. He was the son to the late Franklin and Ruth Meisenburg. David attended Starpoint High School, NCCC and University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1970 and in the Air National Guard 1986-1988. He was awarded several military honors including: Armed Forces Expeditionary (Korea), National Defense Service Medal (Cold War) and a Bronze Star (Vietnam). He worked for GM/Harrison Radiator, Wyndham Lawn Residential Home and Niagara County Jail where he worked as a Corrections Officer, retiring in 2018. He was an active member of Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church in Sanborn. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson bike, relaxing at his camper in the Southern Tier, sharing stories and telling corny jokes with his family to which he was affectionately called, “Boompa”. He was “rarely” seen without his dog, Daisy, who he enjoyed taking for walks at the park.Survivors include his wife, Patt (Altemus) Meisenburg to whom he was married for 51 yrs, two children, Melissa (Mark) Milleville of Wheatfield, NY and David Meisenburg from Lockport, NY. He had 4 sisters, Carol (Ernie) Bowerman, Lori (Mark) Hinman, Beth (Denny) Thompson and was predeceased by his sister Denise (Mark) Ward and a brother, Franklin (Louise) Meisenburg. Grandchildren include Christian and Molly Milleville, Dean and Katlin Purpura. Before relocating to Florida, she was a longtime resident of Fairport Rochester, NY. Mrs. Ward was a dedicated Registered Nurse and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for thirty years, providing love and care to Hospital and Hospice Patients in both NY and FL. She loved cooking, gardening, traveling and interior decorating, but most of all she loved Mark, her husband of thirty-five years, their sweet Scotties, Lenny and Lucy, and her Church where she was an active participant in Sunday services, bible studies and outreach programs. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lutz, FL. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her mother Ruth; her father, Franklin; and her brother, Frankie (Louise). She is survived by her husband Mark; as well as her sisters, Caro Bowerman (Ernie), Lori Hinman (Mark) and Beth Thompson (Dennis); her brother David Meisenberg (Patti); loving in-laws, Trudy Newman (Roderick) and Lance Ward (Lynn); as well as twenty-one nieces and nephews.
