    Margaret Emma (Lamont) Frombgen, age 97, passed away August 2, 2009 in the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born August 30, 1911 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Earl D. and Doris M. (Quandt) Lamont. She was married to George B. Frombgen on October 26, 1940 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Lockport by the Reverend James B. Bray. Her husband of more than 38 years passed away February of 1979. Mrs. Frombgen attended Lockport Senior High School and had been employed by J.J. Newberry Co., Flora Hatch Dress Shop and Sherwood Selpac, all of Lockport. She was a member and past Noble Grand of the Lockport Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by her two sons, Barry J. (Shirley) Frombgen of Lockport and Daniel L. (Mary) Frombgen of Gasport; as well as four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of Florence Judd and Raymond Lamont, both of Lockport and 11 nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her brothers, Fredrick, Elmer, Robert, Charles and George Lamont; and sisters, Helen Shafer and Marion Gaylord. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, where funeral services will be held Thursday morning, August 6th at 10:00 AM.     September 9, 1917 he was the son of Earl and Doris
    (Quandt) Lamont. Ray served in the US Navy from
    1944 to 1946. He owned and operated his own
    plumbing business, RE Lamont Plumbing and Heating
    retiring in 1982. He enjoyed music, bowling,, being
    inducted into the Lockport Bowlling Association Hall of
    Fame in 1998. He initiated and spearheaded effort
    to have the Lockport Bypass named in honor of
    astronaut and Lockport native, William Gregory. It was
    officially dedicated The William Gregory Bypass in
    1998. RRay was predeceased by his wife Marion
    (Williams) Lamont on June 23, 1979.
    Ray is survived by hs two children Paul (Tina) Lamont
    of Lockpot and Nancy Brandt of Florida; two
    grandchildren, Alex (Jennifer) Lamont and Lindsay
    (Kevin) Collins; brother of Florence Judd of Lockport,
    and late Margaret Frombgen, Helen Shaffer,, Marion
    Gaylord, Fred, Elmer, Charles and Robert Lamont;
    also survived by several nieces and nephews.
    Relatives and friends may call Monday, January 26th
    from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242
    Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be

Richard served in the US Army from 1955 to 1957. He worked for Snedeker's Meat Market, The Butcher Shop and Niagara County where he was a sealer for weights and measures. Richard enjoyed bowling, liked being out and about and going to LaPort's Restaurant and Wagner's Restaurant. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Gettysburg and Williamsburg.He is survived by his wife, Josephine (nee D'Auria) Lamont of Lockport; father of Lori Lamont, Rich Lamont, both of Lockport, Julie (Mark) Kavanaugh of California and Tim (Julie) Lamont of Wisconsin; grandfather of Justin, Jenna Lamont, Joe, Sadie Kavanaugh, Olivia and Georgia Lamont; brother of Joel Lamont of Lockport, the late Gary (Rita) Lamont and Donna Bennett; also survived by several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 PM.     Robert Joel Lamont, 62, passed away on February 21, 2014. Joel was born on September 7, 1951 in Lockport, NY, son of the late Robert and Nina (Fallon) Lamont. He was a member of the Redmen and Navy-Marine Club. Joel loved hunting, was a huge NASCAR and NY Yankees fan, but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids who referred to him as "Poppa". Joel was predeceased by his wife, Pam, who passed away on January 20, 1989.
    Joel is survived by his sons, Christopher (Carmine) Lamont and Michael Lamont; his two grandchildren, Lydia and Dylan. He was predeceased by his siblings, Richard and Gary Lamont and Donna Bennett.
    Family and friends are invited to visitation, which will be held on Tuesday, February 25th, from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

    Barry Joseph Frombgen, 81, of Lockport, NY passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born March 19, 1941, Barry was the son of the late George and Margaret (Lamont) Frombgen. Barry married Shirley (Metz) Frombgen on March 21, 1987, at St. Patrick's Church in Lockport. They enjoyed 35 years of marriage together.
    Barry attended St. Patrick's, North Park, and Lockport Sr. High School, where he graduated in 1958. He went on to study at the General Motors Institute, which was sponsored by Harrison. He graduated with a mechanical engineering degree and a heat transfer major. Barry spent the next forty years at Harrison Radiator, and the last eleven years of his career for the North American Truck Group, all of it being with General Motors. His forty-one-year career with GM was spent completely designing, developing, and testing automotive heating and air conditioning systems. He retired in 1999 as a Senior Project Engineer.
    Barry is survived by his wife, Shirley, and his brother Daniel (Mary) Frombgen. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Robert (Diane) Metz, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
