Carl Mellenthien

Carl Mellenthien, 64 years old, died yesterday morning at his home, 450
Schenck street. He had been in poor health for a long time. He was born in
Germany and had resided in North Tonawanda for the past 15 years. He was a
member of the St. Matthew's church.

Surviving are a wife, Mary Wilke; three sons, Alvin, Clarence and Henry,
Buffalo; ten grandchildren; a brother, William Hanneman, Newfane, and three
sisters, Mrs. Alvina Schendel, Mrs. Augusta Bach and Mrs. Minnie Berndt,
North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
from the residence. Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate and burial will
be in the St. Matthew's cemetery.

died Wednesday (Jan.
6, 1965) at DeGraff Memorial
Hospital. She was a lifelong res-
ident of North Tonawanda and a
member of St. Peter's American
Lutheran Church and the La-
dies Aid of the church. She was
wife of the late August Bach,
and is survived by two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Ella Johnson and Mrs.
Lydia Bernhardt of North Tona-
wanda; four grandchildren,
and nine great - grandchildren.

7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattengel

Donna J. (nee Berndt) Behrns, age 84, of the Town of Wheatfield, April 13, 2013 in Wedgewood Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. Donna had worked as a Registered Nurse at DeGraff Memorial Hospital and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
She was the wife of the late Arthur C. Behrns. Beloved mother of Kim (Ann) Behrns of South Carolina, Karen (Hamid) Navaie of Elmira, Kelly (Jim) McGarvey of Grand Island, Kristy (Michael) Lasher and Kurt Behrns, both of North Tonawanda. Grandmother of fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
No prior visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
