MRS. SCHIMSCHACK IS DEAD IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Agnes A. Schimschack, 45 years old, wife of Herman Schimschack, 413 Fletcher street, died yesterday morning at the DeGraff Memorial hospital. Mrs. Schimschack was born in Germany. She was brought to the Tonawandas by her parents when less than a year old. She was a member of the Ladies' Aid society and the Sewing class of the Emanuel Lutheran church. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, the Misses Elsie and Freda Schimschack, Mrs. Alfred Gaul and Mrs. Paul Schimschack of Tonawanda, and Miss Agnes Schimschack of Mingo Junction, O.; two sons, Berhardt Busch of North Tonawanda and Paul Schimschack of Tonawanda; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Greinhert of St. Johnsburgh; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Meyers, Mrs. Theodore K...m, Mrs. George Hildebrandt and Mrs. Gustave Heisterburg (?), all of the Tonawandas, and four brothers, Otto and Edward Greinert of St. Johnsburgh and Julius and Theodore Greinert of North Tonawanda. NORTH TONAWANDA — Warren J. Hildebrandt, age 89, of North Tonawanda, died on Sunday, September 9, 2012. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, he was the son of the late George W. and Elsie R. (Greinert) Hildebrandt. Mr. Hildebrandt retired as Plant Manager for Teledyne Corp. in North Tonawanda. He was a US army veteran of WW II, and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was also a member of Tonawandas' Post 264 American Legion, the Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown, NY, the Kings Way Country Club in Lake Suzy, FL, and the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club in Punta Gorda, FL.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Vera C. (nee Vigrass) Hildebrandt; and his niece, Pati Vacanti.

Alan C. Greinert, 61, of Amherst, controller of Newtown Computer Printing of Buffalo for the last 30 years, died Sunday (Sept. 2, 2001) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after becoming ill at home.
Greinert was born in Lockport and moved to Niagara Falls in the 1950s. He graduated from LaSalle High School. He later earned degrees from Kelley Business Institute and Niagara County Community College.
Greinert served in the Army Signal Corps from 1961 to 1963 and was stationed in East Africa.
He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz, and was devoted to his dogs, according to his family.
Survivors include his wife, the former Kathy D. Wade, and a brother, Roger J. of Grand Island.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield

NORTH TONAWANDA — Kenneth A. "Ken" Stange, age 81, of North Tonawanda, November 1, 2010 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Ken was a past president and owner of Stange Agency, Inc. He retired in 1994 after 43 years. Prior to the Stange Agency he worked as a Cabinetmaker for Gratwick Lumber. He was an active life-long member of St. Mark Lutheran Church; he served as Superintendent of St. Mark Cemetery and had served as Treasurer of St. Mark for many years as well as in various other positions. He was a Yankees fan and enjoyed traveling in his motor home and handing out his "free ticket." He was the son of the late John and Elsie (Meyers) Stange.

Beloved husband of Gloria (Behm) Stange for over 60 years; father of Douglas (Kathleen) Stange and Dennis (Paula) Stange, both of North Tonawanda; grandfather of Katie (Steven) Becker, Tracy (Steven) Dombrowski, Amanda, Bradley, Marilou, and Melanie Stange; great-grandfather of Carter Becker; father-in-law of Melissa (Kurt) Jaeger; nephew of Erna Behm.

Joanne worked as the Assistant Director at Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara for over 23 years. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church and she enjoyed reading.
In addition to her mother Joanne is survived by two siblings: Joyce (Frank) Grenga, and Richard (Karen) Kumm of Niagara Falls, her sister-in-law Deborah (late Robert) Kumm of Grand Island and her aunt Shirley (late Glen) Barber of Sanborn. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews: Frank and Michael (Melissa) Sillett, Jessica (Daniel) Shvimer, Joshua and Eric Kumm, Kirsten, Shauna and Derrik Mahoney and her great-nephews Dylan Shvimer and Jacob and Michael Sillett and great-niece Kassie Sillett. In addition to her father she was predeceased by her brother Robert (Deborah) Kumm.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Friday from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery in the Town of Lewiston. Flowers gratefully declined.
