NIAGARA FALLS - Ruth D. Schultz, who formerly taught millinery classes at the Niagara Falls Adult Education Center, died Sunday in Schoellkopf Health Center after a brief illness. She was 91. Born Ruth Ziemer in Zimmerman, MN, she graduated from high school in Hanover, Ont., and moved to Niagara Falls in 1930. A member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was an active member of American Lutheran Church Women, holding several offices in the local and district organizations. Mrs. Schultz enjoyed teaching Sunday school, making quilts, sewing, weaving and gardening. She was a member of the Hyde Park Garden Club, the Niagara County Horticultural Society and Niagara Weavers. She had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 26 years. She and her husband of 66 years, Alfred E., were married by her father, the Rev. Gustav Ziemer, in St. Paul Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Linda Dillinger of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, James A. of Fayetteville, Ga., and Paul T. of North Tonawanda; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 18th Street and Cleveland Avenue. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz.
