Christine (nee Eidt), Wendt, 65, of 835 Ohio St., North Tonawanda died Sunday (Sept. 8, 1957) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. She was born in Canada and lived in North Tonawanda 55 years. She is survived by her husband, Edward M. Wendt; two daughters Mrs Harold Boehnke and Miss Dons Wendt; three sons, Martin, Raymond and Robert, all of North Tonawanda; a brother Louis Eidt of Niagara Falls. Ont.; a sister, Mrs. John Thaler of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and one grandchild. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Friends call at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Frederick A. Hinners will officiate. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Park.

BOEHNKE
Evelyn M. Boehnke, 42, of 1709 Linden Ave., North Tonawanda, died Sunday (Nov. 22, 1964) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society. She is survived by her husband, Harold L.; two daughters, Carole and Judith; three brothers, Robert, Raymond, and Martin Wendt and a sister, Miss Doris Wendt, all of North Tonawanda. Doris Wendt, age 82, passed away on November 24, 2016 at Brookdale's Clarebridge House in Wheatfield following a long illness. Doris was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she graduated from North Tonawanda High School and retired from DeGraff Memorial Hospital, where she had worked as a nurses aide for over 35 years. Her hobbies included trips to the casino and travel. Daughter of the late Edward and Christine Wendt; sister of the late Evelyn (late Harold) Boehnke, late Martin, late Raymond and late Robert Wendt. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marilyn (Robert) Ventry; and four nieces. Friends may call on Sunday from 12-3 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda where Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM.
