George T. Wise, 68, a 34-
year retired employe of the
General Abrasive Co., died
unexpectedly Sunday—(April
2, 1961) at Memorial Hospital.
He resided at 6911 Laur Road,
Town of Niagara and lived
In this area for 40 years. He
was a native of England.
Surviving are his widow,
Florence Wise; two daughters,
Mrs. Adrian (Ruth) Segarra,
Lockport, and Mrs. Delbert
(Doris) Ausderau, California;
a son George T. Wise, California;
two brothers, Charles
Wise, Youngstown, and Sidney
Wise, Town of Niagara;
a sister, Mrs. Victor (Ethel)
Shannon, this city; and six
grandchildren.

United Presbyterian
Church will conduct the funeral
service at 2 p.m. Wednesday
at the Grimes Funeral
Home. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery

Cleveland avenue, died yesterday at
Memorial hospital after an illness
of six months. She had been a resident
of this city for the last 22
years. She was a member of Star
of LaSalle Lodge, No. 785, Order of
Eastern Star, and of Messiah
Shrine. No. 18, White Shrine of
Jerusalem.
Surviving are her husband, Walter
L. Shannon, a daughter, Evelyn
Jane: a sister, Mrs. Victor Shannon,
and three brothers, George. Sidney
and Charles Wise, all of this city.
Funeral services will be held on
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
the Bell Funeral chapel. Main
street, with the Rev. Blake B Hammond
officiating. Interment will
be in Oakwood cemetery.

Sidney Wise, 66, dog warden
of the Town of Niagara, died
'unexpectedly Monday (Dec.
30, 1968) at Mount St. Mary's
Hospital.
Born in Sheffield, England,
Mr. Wise had been a resident,
of the Town of Niagara for
the past 30 years. He resided
-with his wife, the former
Helen Bailey of N i a g a r a
Falls, at 6800 Elsa' Place in
the Town of Niagara.
Mr. Wise was employed as
a millwright by the Union
Carbide Corp. for 23 years,
until his retirement in 1964,
when he became dog warden
for the Town of Niagara. He
was a member of the Town
of Niagara Democratic Club.
Besides his wife, Mr. Wise
is survived by' three sons:
Sidney, Robert and Kurt Sidney
of the Town of Niagara
« and Ronald Edward Wise of
Boise, Idaho; a. sister, Mrs.
Victor (Ethyl) Shannon of
Lewiston; a brother,. Charles
F. Wise of Tampa, Fla.; a
grandson, Kurt Sidney of
Wyoming and several nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services will be
conducted at the Grimes
Funeral Home Thursday at
2 p.m. with the Rev. William
J. Devine, pastor of Niagara
United Presbyterian Church,
officiating. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the
funeral home today a nd
Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m.
and 6 to 9 p.m. The family
said that contributions to iho
Emphysema Fund will be
acceptable as tribute.

Mr. Wise, a resident for the
past five years of Pomona,
Calif., died in a Los Angeles
Hospital of injuries received
in a motorcycle and car accident
which ocurred Jan. 3.
He was a gradaute of Trott
Voational School and worked
at .Kimberly Clark Corp.
while a resident here.
; He is -survived by his wife,
Imgard, of Pomona, his mother,
George Wise of Norco,
Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Delbert
(Doris) Ausderau, of Norco,

Of Grand Island, Formerly of Lewiston. Wife of Louis DeRosa. Mother of Andrea DeRosa and Alex (Alexandra) DeRosa. Sister of Daniel (Christine) OConnor and the late Thomas (survived by wife Donna) OConnor. Daughter of the late John and Evelyn (nee Shannon) OConnor. Proud aunt and great aunt to 13 nieces and nephews, and 18 great nieces and great nephews. Also survived by her beloved 4 legged family. Lorraine is remembered as the most loving mother to her children, a great connector of friends and family, a dedicated employee of 49 years to Benchmark Management Corp. as a Divisional VP, and a proud member of LAOH and SAHMA. Above all else, she loved her family and friends, travel, her Adirondack cabin, live music, and a glass of red wine. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 5-7:30 PM at the Kaiser Funeral Home 1950 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. Stephens Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation and CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation.
