Saturday morning from the family home.

Sacred Heart church at 9 o'clock. Burial
Riverdale cemetery.

H e a r t church. Burial will be in

Hugh I. Tierney, 43, of 1810
15th St., died Monday (March
16, 1964) at home. He had
been in poor health for three
years.
Mr. Tierney was born here.
He was engaged in the painting
trade. He served five
vears in the Army in World
War II.
Surviving are a brother,
James Tierney, and two sisters,
Miss Margaret A. Tierney
and Mrs. David S. Roulley,
all of this city.
Services will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday at Cooler's Funeral
Home and at 10:30 at Sacred
Heart Church. Burial will be
in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited
at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Notes:

Michael F. Tierney, 63, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 8, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Pfifer) Tierney.
Michael was employed as an EMT with Frontier Ambulance and also as a laborer with Laborer’s Local #91.  His life centered around his family, and he loved being a Papa to his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife, Janine L. (Scarcelli) Tierney; his daughters, Maria (John Serbert) Tierney and Amanda Scarcelli (Blake Napierla); his grandchildren, Mia, Giavanna, Max, Molly, and Baby Blake; as well as several other close family members and cousins.  He was the Dearest Uncle to Wendy (Joe) Kiszewski, and also survived by his loving friend, Georgia Kiszewski, and was the son-in-law of Joanne (late James) Scarcelli.  He was predeceased by his brother, Pete Tierney.
