NORTH TONAWANDA—Mr. and
Mrs. Lawrence Seefreid. of 411 Kolb
street, received a telegram yester- \
day telling them that their son. '
Private Sylvester Seefreid, 23. of i
Camp Shelby. Miss., had died at j
that camp after an operation. On
Wednesday the youth's parents re- '
ceived a telegram stating that the
soldier was seriously ill.
Seefreid wa.s well known through- ,
out the city. Besides hi** parents he
is survived by one brother, Joseph,
and three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence
LaJoie, Mrs. Allen LaJoie and Mrs.
Glenwood Proefrock, all of North
Tonawanda.
The youth's body will be returned
to this city
