    JANOWSKY - Christian Janowsky, 89, of North Tonawanda, Monday (August 28, 1978) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, he was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ and was a postal carrier in North Tonawanda from 1913 to his retirement in 1957. Husband of the late Ruth (nee Ellman) Janowsky, he is survived by three sons, Warren E. (Irene) Janowsky and Bruce C. (Betty) Janowsky, both of North Tonawanda and Russell P. (Marie) Janowsky, Otsego, Mich.; one brother , Henry (Ida) Janowsky of North Tonawanda; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Friends may call WEDNESDAY 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 OLiver St., North Tonawanda where services will be held THursday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Howard F. Cramer, Jr. officiating. Burial Friedens Cemetery.

    Betty Janowsky, of North Tonawanda, age 85, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on December 30, 2012. Mrs. Janowsky was born August 9, 1927 in Buffalo, daughter of the late John and Gladys Steiner. Betty was a member of Full Gospel Fellowship, she also taught ladies bible study for over 40 years. Her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her family. Mrs. Janowsky is predeceased by her husband, the late Bruce Janowsky who passed away in 2003. Beloved mother of Jean ( Donald) Lacey, Michael ( Suzanne) Janowsky and Sharon ( James) Hoelsher; sister of John ( Anne) Steiner of FL. Betty is also survived by six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Friends may call WEDNESDAY 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home 307 Oliver St. North Tonawanda where Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to World Vision in Betty's memory.

    Richard M. Janowsky, 69, of North Tonawanda, Sunday (December 23, 2018). Mr. Janowsky was born in North Tonawanda, on February 16, 1949 to Warren C. and Irene (Richards) Janowsky. Richard was a life long resident of North Tonawanda, a Vietnam Veteran who served with the United States Army, and a retired plumber, in his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors. Richard is predeceased by his parents and brother W. Christ Janowsky. 
    Richard is survived by his loving children Angela and Randy Janowsky, dear friend of Nancy and John Mangus, his loyal dog Moose, also surviving are many cousins. 
    Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
