    Gustav E. Lobien, 72, of 68
    Klaun Ave., died unexpectedly
    Sunday (June 14, 1959) in De-
    Graff Memorial Hospital.
    Born in this city, he was a
    member of Salem United
    Church of Christ, the Brotherhood
    of the Church, its Home
    Department and Missionary
    Society.
    He was also a member of the
    25-Year Club of Remington
    Rand Inc., where he was formerly
    employed. He retired several
    years ago.
    He was the husband of the
    late Matie Andres Lebien. He
    is survived by a daughter, Mrs.
    Norman Garlapow; four sisters,
    Mrs. Lena Siembt; Mrs.
    Harold Zuch, Mrs. Michael
    Shannon and Mrs. William
    Krause and one-grandchild, all
    of this city. The Rev. Walter
    F. Hetzel will conduct services
    at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday In
    the Wattengel Funeral Home.
    Burial will be in White Chapel
    Memorial Park.

    GARLAPOW - Dorothy A. (nee Lobien) Garlapow, 71, of North Tonawanda, Tuesday (December 17, 1985) at her residence. A lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, she was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Tri-C, 50 year member of the Senior Choir, womens quilters of the church and was a long time church clerk. Mrs. Garlapow was the wife of the late Norman Garlapow and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Linda) Beckensall of Pendleton; two grandchildren, Rhonda and Andrea Beckensall of Pendleton No prior visitation. Private interment services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to a memorial service Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Friedens United Church of Christ. The Rev. Thomas Hardy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ Memorial Fund. Arrangements by Wattengel Funeral Home. Inc.
