Bonnie (Hartwig) Kephart, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Friday, January 29, 2010 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, following a brief illness. She was 69. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 1, 1940, a daughter of the late Donald and Verna Lillian (Landes) Hartwig. She attended local schools and was graduated from Niagara Falls High School.She worked as a sales clerk at several businesses at the Factory Outlet Mall. Bonnie was very active with her kids, attending and chaperoning many band field trips. She also chaperoned Shawnee Bugle Corps field trips. She taught dance at Miss Bev's. She was a member of the LaSalle Sportsman Club Ladies Auxiliary and its former Mother Club; Niagara Lazy Lakes, Zion Lutheran Church and attended Grace Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and her many trips to Florida and Disney World with her family. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Blair Kephart; three children, Blair Kephart (Jennifer) and Shelley Farris, both of Niagara Falls, Shawn Kephart (Jill) of Grand Island; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Donald Scott Kephart in 2003. Friends may call Sunday from 1-4, 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM, with the Rev. Matthew Sorenson officiating. Blair K. Kephart, 48, of DeMunda Avenue, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his home. Blair was born August 12, 1961 in Niagara Falls, the son of Blair O. Kephart of Niagara Falls and the late Bonnie (Hartwig) Kephart, who predeceased him in January 2010. He was formerly employed at Federal Meat Market. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was involved with Cayuga Little League Zone 7. He enjoyed playing Fantasy Baseball and Football and was a major Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. In addition to his father, he is survived by his former wife, Jennifer (Lauffer) Kephart; his children, Holly and Blair Kephart, both of Niagara Falls; a brother, Shawn K. (Jill) Kephart; and his sister, Shelley Farris; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brother, Donald Scott Kephart. The family will receive friends from 2-5 and 7-9 PM Monday in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM Rev.
