    Frances (Dobrasz) Ardus, 80 years old, formerly of Niagara Falls, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at her home in Leesburg, FL. She was born in Niagara Falls on May 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Anthony and Lottie (Moskal) Dobrasz.
    Mrs. Ardus was a 1954 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was employed as a medical biller by many local physicians, including Niagara Orthopaedics until her retirement. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and ceramics; but spending time with family was most important, especially her grandchildren.
    Mrs. Ardus is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank Ardus, Sr. of Leesburg, FL; her daughter, Teresa (William) Caso of Niagara Falls and her son, Frank (Cheryl) Ardus, Jr. of Orchard Park. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Stephanie (Jason) Polka, Erica Caso, and Nicholas and Lindsey Ardus as well as her brother, Robert (Barbara) Dobrasz. She was predeceased by her brother, John (Gerry of Atlanta, GA) Dobrasz.
    Friends may call on Friday from 3 until 7 pm at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th Streets with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.

    Mr. John Dobrasz, 75, of Atlanta, GA, passed away October 20, 2014. He was born on February 20, 1939 in Niagara Falls, NY, to the late Lottie Moskal and Anthony Dobrasz. After graduating from Niagara Falls High School, John attended Hamilton College in Clinton, NY and graduated in 1962 with a BA in history. He then honorably served in the United States Air Force in the Intelligence division. He retired from the US Air Force as a Major in 1983. After retirement, John traveled the world. He volunteered in Poland as a conversational English teacher. He was a member of the Northside Hospital Auxiliary for 9 years. John was a coin and stamp collector and avid reader. He was very kind, gentle and patient.

    John leaves behind his wife of 49 1/2, Geraldine "Gerry" Dobrasz of Atlanta, GA, sons; John Dobrasz (Jina) of Atlanta, GA and Gregory Dobrasz (Emily Joy) of Atlanta, GA, daughter; Karen Dobrasz of Atlanta, GA, grandsons; Oscar, Oliver and Everett Dobrasz, brother; Robert Dobrasz (Barbara) of Niagara Falls, NY and sister; Frances Ardus (Frank) of Leesburg, FL. A funeral service will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 7:00pm at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill. The family will receive friend from 5-7pm. A committal service with military honors will be Friday, October 24, 2014 at 9:00am at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
