    Peter A. Miosga Jr. 75, of the Town of Niagara, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at home. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 28, 1940 he was the son of the late Peter A. and Mary (Gaj) Miosga Sr. Peter attended local schools, graduating from Bishop Duffy High School in 1958. He worked as a truck driver for Sam Filippo, Gross plumbing and numerous other companies.


    He was a lifetime member of Niagara #1 Vol. Fire Company, Niagara #1 Exempts serving as secretary. Along with being a lifetime member of the LaSalle Sportsmans Club and a member of the Buff Social Club. Peter enjoyed 4 wheeling and hunting at his camp, which he shared with his late longtime friend Dean Brown.


    He is survived by two sisters, Mary Eleanor Raucci of Zephyrhills, FL and Barbara(Frank) Mietlicki of Lockport, NY; Companion, Sue Perry of the Town Of Niagara, NY; Brother In-law, Richard Mietlicki and also several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, John Miosga and sister, Tekla H. Mietlicki.


    Friends may call Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2-6 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, Cor. of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY, where the Niagara #1 exempts will hold a prayer service at 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, January 11th at St. Vincent DePaul (St. Leo's), 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Robert Hughson officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pete's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
