TRAVIS—Howard S. Travis, 72, 2855
Senter Rd, San Jose, Cal., died Saturday
afternoon in Mercy Hospital, Council
Bluffs, Iowa. He Is survived by
his wife, Mrs. Maybelle Travis, San
Jose, a son, Robert Travis, Stamford,
Conn., two daughters, Mrs. Robert W.
Anderson, Vestal, Mrs. R a l p h St.
Denny, Norwich, seven grandchildren,
a brother, Claude Travis, Scranton,
Pa., three sisters. Miss Edith Travis,
Scranton, Mrs. Robert Seibecker,
Scranton, Mrs. L. W. Ehrhardt, Owego,
several nieces and nephews. He
was a member of Owego Methodist
Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars,
and the American Legion. He was the
owner of the Travis Plumbing & Heating
Co., In Owego and Norwich. The
funeral services will be held Friday
at 11 a.m. at the H. P. Moat Funeral
Home. 765 Main St., Vestal with the
Rev. Harry M. Savacool, pastor of
the Owego Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be In Vestal Hills
Memorial Park at the convenience of
the family. The family will receive
friends at the funeral home Thursday
evening from 7 to 9. Friends may
make Memorial contributions to the
Broome County Health Association

Howard married Marybelle about 1921. Marybelle was born about 1894 in PA; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
