Notes:

Julie M. Brierley, 54, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 28, 2023 at her residence under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Sandra (Reubens) Scarfone.
Julie was previously employed as a server at Mike’s Marketside Restaurant.  She also worked in construction for various local firms.  Most recently, Julie was self-employed as a Home Health Care Aide.  She also was a Licensed Beautician. Julie loved the outdoors, especially camping, adventuring and walking the gorge.  She will be remembered for her supporting and genuine nature, her outspokenness, and always had a lot of love to give.  Above all, she loved being a mother and a grandmother – she fought until the end and found the strength to continue because of her grandchildren.
Julie is survived by her children, Dominique Scarfone (Qumane Dykes) and Felicia Scarfone; her grandchildren, Nahshayla Scarfone-Dykes, Audumn Scarfone-Dykes, Kameron Scarfone-Dykes, and Aubriella Scarfone-Dykes; her husband, Michael Brierley; her sister, Gina (Robert) Mollosky, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Ronald ‘Ron’ Scarfone, Lorraine Buchman, and Tina (Jim) Salhany.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10 from 2 – 5 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 5 PM.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
