Joyce Yvonne Clary 
passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 21, 2020.  She was born in Batavia, NY on November 24, 1938 to the late Leonard and Gladys (Werth) Kranz.
Joyce was a 1956 graduate of Akron Central Schools. She married Leonard “Mel” Clary in 1958 and worked various child related jobs while raising their three children. She began as a Nursery School teacher in the 1960s and coached the Little League Cheerleaders from the 1960s-1970s. She served on the Committee for the Handicapped during the 1970s as well as the Committee on Special Education from 1978 – 1985. She retired as a bus aide for the Akron Central School District.  In her spare time Joyce loved doing ceramics and collecting colored glass. She especially enjoyed her trips to the casino with her friends.
Beloved mother of David (Nancy) Clary and Debbie Clary; cherished grandmother of Tyler (Christy) Clary, Priscilla (Mark) Fuller, Josh (Danielle) Coppede, Keith Clary, Christian (Stephanie) Navas; proud great grandmother of Bella, Addisyn, Emmaline, Charlotte, Mackenzie, and Teagan. Joyce is predeceased by her husband of 60 years Leonard “Mel” Clary and her daughter, Darcia Clary.

Friends and relatives may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue with a funeral service immediately following at 7:00 PM. Charitable donations may be made in Joyce’s memory to Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Parkway, Buffalo, NY
