    LAID AT REST-Otto Berghdltz,
    67, of the Ward road. Town of
    Wheatfield, who died Friday after
    suffering a heart attack while
    driving a Town of Wheatfield
    truck and for whom funeral
    services were held at St. John's
    Lutheran church, St. Johnsburg,
    N. Y., yesterday. Interment was
    made in St. John's cemetery.
    Town of Wheatfield highways
    superintendent for 14 years prior
    to January 1 and a member of
    the St. John's Fire company, Mr.
    Bergholtz is survived by his wife,
    Mrs. Anna Pankow Bergholtz;
    one son, George O. Bergholtz,
    and a granddaughter. Sandra
    Bergholtz. of the Town of Wheatfield,
    and three sisters, Miss
    Olga Bergholtz and Mrs. Frank
    Wilford, of Cleveland, Ohio, and
    Mrs. Minnie Leubeke, of Binghamton,
    N. Y.

    Otto married PANKOW, Anna in 1904 in Niagara County, NY. Anna (daughter of PANKOW and JAENECKE, Alvina Johanna) was born in 1880 in Prussia; died on 14 Apr 1953 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    ST. JOHNSBURG -
    George 0. Bergholtz, 56, a
    Town of Wheatfield Highway
    Department maintenance
    man, died unexpectedly
    Friday night (May 12,
    1961) at his home, 7196
    Ward Road.
    Mr. Bergholtz had just returned
    to his home after attending
    a fund raising meeting
    at St. John's Lutheran
    Church school. He felt ill and
    had called a doctor just before
    he died. Members of the
    St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire
    Co. administered oxygen but
    failed to revive him.
    Born in Lockport, Mr. Bergholtz
    lived in the Town of
    Wheatiield for 52 years. He
    was a member of St. John's
    Church and of the fire company.
    His wife, Helen Manth
    Bergholtz, died six years ago.
    Surviving are a daughter.
    Miss Sandra Bergholtz, at
    home, and several cousins.
    The f a m i l y will receive
    friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
    at t h e Fretthold Funeral
    Home, North Tonawanda. Services
    will be conducted at 2
    p.m. Tuesday by Rev. Clarence
    W. Rabe. Burial will be
    in St. John's Cemetery.

    ST. CYR, SANDRA ANN (nee Bergholtz)
    Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 14, 2020 surrounded by her family, she was 76. Born in Buffalo, the only child of the late George O. and Helen (nee Manth) Bergholtz. Sandra was a 1962 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield Central School and then received an Associated Degree from Bryant and Stratton in 1964. She married her beloved husband of 55 years, Larry F. St. Cyr, on June 5, 1965 at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheatfield. Sandra loved to go out to local restaurants, spend time with her children and play games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by everyone. She is the loving mother of Susan H. (Michael) Stromberg and Larry J. (Susan) St. Cyr; cherished grandmother of Ashley (Nick) Ardino, Jordan Stromberg, Logan (Nicole) St. Cyr and Madison St. Cyr; adored Gigi of Aubreyelle and Milana. Arrangements by AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday at Niagara Frontier Bible Church, 5287 Bronson Drive, Lewiston, NY from 2-4 PM with the service to follow at 4 PM. Friends invited.
