LOCKPORT—Mrs. Clara
W. Howell, 83, formerly of
23 Morrow Ave., died Friday
(Jan. 28, 1966) in Lockport
Memorial Hospital
after a short illness.
She was born April 22,
1882, in the Town of Wilson,
the daughter of Charles and
Dora Wolfe Stolzenburg. An
active worker in the Episcopal
scurch, she was a
member of the Lockport
Golden Agers and Senior
Citizens organizations. Her
husband, Burt C. Howell,
died in 1939.
Surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. John Bolton Jr., and a
son, Burton H. Howell, both
of Lockport; two grandchildren
and two greatgrandchildren;
a sister, Mrs.
Edward Wendler, Appleton,
and a brother, Frank Stolzenburg,
Middleport.
Friends may call from 7
to 9 p.m. today and from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday
at the Prudden and
Kandt Funeral Home. The
burial office will be recited
at 2:30 p.m. Monday in
Grace Episcopal Church by
Very Rev. L. Russell Foster,
pastor of Grace Church.
Burial will be in Cold
Springs Cemetery.

NEWFANE, July 16.—Funeral services
for Henry C. Stoltenburg. will
be held at the home, 18 North Main
street, tomorrow afternoon, at 2:30
o'clock. The Rev. William Dallmann,
pastor of the Lutheran church at
Ridgewood, will officiate. Burial
will be ln Wright's Corners cemetery.
Mr. Stolzenburg was born ln the
town of Newfane where he .was a
farmer until 16 years ago when he
moved to this village.
Besides his wife, he leaves one son
and one daughter, Max F. Stolzen-
burg, of this village, and Miss Levant
Tuttle, of Lockport: and four
grandchildren; four brothers and
three sisters, Frank, of Middleport,
William. Herman and Carl, all of
Burt, Mrs. Sherman Beeman, of Ak
ron. N. Y., Mrs. Burt Howell, of
Lockport, and Mrs. Edward Wend
ler, of Newfane.
