FLUSHING, MI — Elnora Blanche Meiklejohn of Flushing, MI, age 90, died on Sunday, August 19, 2012 in Flint, MI. Funeral services will be 11 AM on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Flushing Presbyterian Church, with burial following in Flushing, MI. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Thursday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 AM until time of the service Friday at the church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the McLaren Auxiliary Memorial Fund or Humane Society of Genesee County, both of Flint, MI.

Nora was born in Wheatfield, NY, on May 5, 1921, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Weinheimer) Bilkey. She married George Arnott Meiklejohn on May 22, 1943 in Lockport, NY. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2008. Nora was a member of Flushing Presbyterian Church. She was a McLaren Hospital Auxiliary volunteer. She was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine El Said Court #28 and the Order of Eastern Star.

Nora is survived by daughters, Joyce (Robert) McGriff, Carol (James) Dehlin, Nancy (Andy) Smith; sons, James (Diane) Meiklejohn, Kirk (Judy) Meiklejohn; grandchildren, Andy, Brian (Heather), Jennifer, Jesse (Lori), Kristin, Nichole (Bryan) Jordy (Melissa), Sarah (Craig), Maria, Hannah, Andrea, Danny (Kayla), Kelley, Erynn; great-grandchildren, Brenden, Andrea, Nicholas, Isabelle, Elizabeth, Maranda, Corwin, Kellan, Cowen, Norah; sisters-in-law, Muriel Williamson, Alma Meiklejohn; special cousin, "Pinky" Weinheimer; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, George; brother, Robert; and sister, Alice.
