    Robert P. Beaver, Sr., lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 09, 2015 at Buffalo Veterans Hospital. He was 72. He was born in Niagara Falls on May 22, 1943, a son of Margaret (Sikkas) Beaver and the late Lauren J. Beaver. He attended local schools including the former LaSalle Senior High School and then entered the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge in 1962 he worked as a truck driver for several companies, retiring from St. Johnsbury in Tonawanda. Mr. Beaver loved to travel and loved going out to dinner but his greatest joy was his time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving companion of 15 years, Patricia Felkner, and her family, two children: Robert P. (Gloria) Beaver, Jr. and Scott (Laurie) Beaver, his mother Margaret Beaver, three siblings: Lauren C. Beaver, Pat (Bob) Colosi and Allen Beaver, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother Gary Beaver. Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Saturday, December 12 from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 North Military Road, Niagara Falls. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in the Town of Lewiston.
