    NORTH TONAWANDA — Janet I. (nee Forth) Grosskopf, age 74, of the City of Tonawanda, Monday, January 10, 2011 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, she was the wife of Earl L. Grosskopf, who died in 1994. Janet had been employed at DeGraff Memorial Hospital for more than 20 years and was a member of Tonawanda Free Methodist Church. She was an avid sewer and seamstress, loved camping and was extremely charitable to those in need.

    She is survived by five sons, Clyde (Kathleen) of Tonawanda, Richard (Deborah) of the Town of Tonawanda, Roger and Kevin (Joyce) of North Tonawanda, and Bryan (Deborah) of Tonawanda; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernest (Carol) Forth of Lockport. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), in Tonawanda. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM Thursday in Tonawanda Free Methodist Church, 207 Grove St., in Tonawanda. Friends invited. The Rev. Donald L. Mohr will officiate. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Grosskopf, age 57, of the City of Tonawanda, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Buffalo General Hospital. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, he was the son of the late Earl and Janet Grosskopf. Clyde was a 1974 graduate of Tonawanda High School and was a huge supporter of the Erie County SPCA for many years. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kathleen Grosskopf; his step-son, Jason (Julie) Mock of Orchard Park; four brothers, Richard (Deborah) Grosskopf of the Town of Tonawanda, Roger Grosskopf of West Seneca, Kevin (Joyce) Grosskopf of North Tonawanda and Bryan (Deborah) Grosskopf of Tonawanda. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where services will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday evening following the visitation. Pastor.
