    Elaine Joyce Brunn, of Niagara Falls, NY, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Clifton. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, where she attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was predeceased by her first husband, Carson B. Demmin in 1972.
    Locally, Elaine was Past Matron O.E.S. #658. Past member of Order of Amaranth. Past member of Beta Sigma Psi and an Executive Secretary at Deaconess Hospital, Buffalo, NY. She then married John A. Brunn on November 25, 1977 and moved to Florida. While in Florida, she was a volunteer at Englewood Hospital and Meals on Wheels. She was also a member of B.P.O. Elks Club #2378, B.P.O. "Does Auxiliary." Past member of Aqua Bells Synchronized Swim team, Englewood, FL, and member of American Legion Post #133, Rotunda, FL. Elaine enjoyed tennis, bowling and dancing.
    She is survived by two daughters, Donna D. Wilson of Niagara Falls, NY, and Denise J. Hosie of Starksville, MS; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Jason) Hayek of Bloomington, IL, Wendy (Scott) Strassburg of Wheatfield, NY, Peter A. Wilson of Eden, NY, and Sean Hosie of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Bates of Wisconsin; step-son, James R. Brunn; step-daughters, Judith Dudley and Jerrine Neff. She was predeceased in death by her husband, John (1992) and brothers, Ernie, Arthur and Albert Clifton.
    There will be no prior visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
