John DeLerno, 48, of 417 mary
died June 8, 1951 in his home after
an illness of two years.
Mr. DeLerno was born in Brook-
lyn Nov. 11, 1902, son of Pauline
and the late Alexander DeLerno.
For 19 years he was employed as
a ship chandler in Brooklyn. He
married Jennie Talerico Apr. 24,
1941. Since 1943 he had lived in
utica where he was employed at
the incinerator plant until his ill-
ness.
Surviving besides his wife, and
mother are two daughters, Mrs.
Joseph Burbon and Mrs. George
DePina, Brooklyn; two sons, John
DeLerno, Jr., Brooklyn and Fran-
cis DeLerno, Utica' a sister, Mrs.
John Sanders, Syracuse; a brother,
Gus DeLerno, Brooklyn; two aunts,
Mrs. Dannie Deno and Mrs. Lor-
etta Hall, Utica and several
cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Tuesday
from his late residence and from
St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church
times tobe announced. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery.
